We visited Can Tho in March. The bus tickets from Saigon to Can Tho where arranged by Lily and we arrived at their comfortable homestay. Once we freshened up we were met by our two sweet tour guides Kim and Joy. They were excellent. They took their time to explain all the interesting facts of each location that we visited and they gave us all the time we needed to explore. They were also excellent motorbike riders and we felt totally safe with them. In the evening we went on the local food tour. All the food was amazing, scrumptious and abundant. If you have time I highly recommend the food tour. The following day we were picked up by Lily early in the morning and we set off for the floating market. This is the real deal! A lot of boats were selling different fruits and vegetables. It was amazing to see. Next we stopped for breakfast on the river for a tasty pork noodle soup. Once finished, we set off for the narrow canals, the rice noodle factory and the cocoa factory. These were so interesting to see. Once our tour was finished, Lily also took care for our bus tickets back to Saigon. I highly recommend the tour with Fabulous Mekong Eco Tours especially Lily, Kim and Joy! We had a great time and it was all thanks to them!
