Our turnaround point, and the height of most guests tours with us. We will stop to marvel at the beauty of Emerald Lake. Guests will learn about how the lake gets its emerald hue, and get a chance to snap some photos for themselves.

Stop At: Carcross, Carcross, Yukon
Our lunch stop. Guests will get time in the historic town of Carcross to enjoy some lunch from a local eatery (not included), explore the historic structures of the town, and be able to peruse the local shops and vendors.

Stop At: Carcross Desert, South Klondike Highway, Carcross, Yukon Y0B 1B0 Canada
Guests will get a chance to stop and see the Carcross Desert. They can take off their shoes and play in the sand, hike around, and snap some photos. Your guide will teach you how the sand dune was formed thousands of years ago, and about the delicate ecosystem that has been created by the dunes.

Amazing, wonderful, informative, fun, interesting, etc. I really could just go on and on about this excursion. We took a cruise on Royal Caribbean and booked with Beyond Skagway for a private tour to Emerald Lake. Tim was our tour guide and was the best tour guide we have ever had. Friendly, funny, so knowledgeable and made the trip just wonderful. We went into the Yukon. Visited Carcross desert, Carcross City where we had an amazing lunch at the Bistro. Shopped the town and had some really good coffee. Visited Emerald Lake. Saw waterfalls. Beautiful mountains, stopped for all kinds of pictures. We went to a cemetery hidden away in a little town and Tim informed of us all the history behind the cemetery. We went to the suspension bridge and saw the rapids. Great shop and views. The musher camp was amazing. We got to play with the puppies and learn all about the sled dogs. I seriously could go on and on. Best excursion!! We will book again on our next Alaskan Adventure!!! Communications were great even leading up to the tour, we were traveling with unvaccinated child and I had several questions about requirements and crossing the boarder, they helped me through it all. Tim was our tour guide and he was fantastic. You could tell he loved what he does and is passionate to share the history of the area with others. He knew all the locals at every stop and his positivity was infectious. We had my 5-year-old daughter with us and I was concerned about the length of the tour but we had so many stops along the way that it didn't seem long. She loved it, and Tim became her best friend. We added the scavenger hunt to our tour and highly recommend if you are traveling with kids, my daughter had a blast and loved her stuffed toy at the end. We enjoyed every stop along the way and really enjoyed the town of Carcross, cute shops and great coffee shop.The views were amazing and Kelsey was an awesome guide! We saw 5 bears, a desert in the mountains and ate good food in Carcross Canada.
