The tour guide was very nice - he even met us at the train station in Bern so we did not have to look for the tour meeting spot. He did show us all the places mentioned in the tour itinerary. Unfortunately he offered very little details about each place and I felt like we had to ask question afte...
The tour guide was very nice - he even met us at the train station in Bern so we did not have to look for the tour meeting spot. He did show us all the places mentioned in the tour itinerary. Unfortunately he offered very little details about each place and I felt like we had to ask question after question to even get basic information. At the end of it, we downloaded a free walking tour of Bern and did the route ourselves and the free tour had more info about each spot then our guide offered. When I pay for the tour, I look to get a lot more background leveraging the research of the guide. Otherwise with the info available online today one can get all info themselves and not pay the money. As it stands this was not a good use of our money.manuela-rohner
