We loved our Gourmet food and history tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Quebec! Our tour guide Lyn is a history major and life long 20 generations Québécois. She has been a tour guide for years and in Quebec it takes training and a license to be a guide. We learned about the history of the area while we enjoyed perfect wine pairings with restaurant specialties. Our guide and the restaurants were very accommodating to my not eating pork or shrimp. Each restaurant made me a different dish and my husband (who does eat those items) enjoyed what the chefs had planned. I do suggest a different price from the tour for someone who doesn’t eat those expensive main course items. While I Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and my experience overall was excellent, if I were a couple who didn’t eat pork or shrimp I would suggest a different tour. One more suggestion. Book the tour later in the week as many places were closed on a Tuesday. Our guide Patricia was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting facts without geting into too much details. It was a very nice walk and pace of tour was perfectly timed! We enjoyed every course of the tour!!!

Lynn was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and one of the most friendly guides we have ever had. She is a historian that not only shared the history of old Quebec but also add a real life perspective. The food was great as well. We even went back to one of the restaurants the next night. We are coming back and will be connecting with Lynn again for other tours.
