Visit historic Old Town, pedal the Waterfront Park Esplanade, cruise the Green Park Block corridors, Portland State University and explore the Pearl District with our experienced guides and comfortable rides. Stop At: Cycle Portland - Bike Tours, Rentals, Repairs, 180 NW 3rd Ave, Portland, OR 97209, USA

Meet us at our convenient downtown location and pick out bikes as we get ready to head out on the town. Meet your guide and fellow riders.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Tom McCall Waterfront Park, Front Avenue, Portland, OR 97205

Rolling through the heart of China Town and in to Tom McCall Waterfront Park, our first stop is at the Japanese American Historical Plaza for a bit of history and a look at the ever changing cityscape.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Eastbank Esplanade, Portland, OR 97214

Continuing on, participants experience world class bike paths and scenic vistas of the Portland skyline along USA's longest floating bike and walkway.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: OMSI, 1945 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214, USA

Continuing along the Eastbank we will ride past the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry for a brief explanation of this historic museum

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Tilikum Crossing, Crosses the Willamette River, Portland, OR 97201

Continuing to meander along the Willammette river takes us across the bridge named after the The Chinook word for "of the people". From the top enjoy vistas of local volcanos Mt Hood and the famed Mt St Helens.

Stop At: Portland State University, 1631 Southwest 12th Ave, Portland, OR 97209

After crossing the Willammette we will ride up to Portland State University to enjoy the Park Blocks, and if it's the Saturday 10am tour - you'll get to enjoy the splendor of Oregon's Largest Farmers Market.

Stop At: Portland Art Museum, 1219 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97205-2430

Continuing along Portland's masterfully designed city layout and bike infrastructure we will roll through the Arts District. Home the the Portland Art Museum, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, and The Oregon Historical Society.

Stop At: Powell's City of Books, 1005 W Burnside St, Portland, OR 97209-3114

We will continue our ride into the Heart of Portland's Core. Nothing is more central to the Portland culture than books. We will point out the world's largest independently owned book store, an entire 5 story city block of books, maps and gifts!

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Pearl District, 404 NW 10th Ave # LL1, Portland, OR 97209-3184

Our final stop is in the Pearl District. One of Portland's finest and newest neighborhoods. We delve into the history of how this once collection of rundown warehouses became the cultural mecca of craft beer and art that is today.

Stop At: Old Town, Southwest Fourth Avenue and Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97209

Lastly we will ride onto our final destination at our bike shop in Old Town. Cycle Portland has been renting bikes and providing tours since 2008. Also, we're a beer and wine bar with tons of funky socks and a lifesize statue of a naked biker designed by Wyden and Kennedy, of the "Just do it" nike fame.

  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • We are following all the directives from our local health authorities and are sanitizing all equipment daily. Guests are required to wear masks while in close proximity to other cyclists. Refunds will always be available for virus related cancellations.

  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Had an amazing time! Our tour guide Taylor was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time touring the city and visiting the breweries. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys bike rides and breweries!

The whole thing! The guide was very knowledgeable and was great at guiding throughout the city. He was very personable and I learned a lot. Even stopped for a photo opp along the way.

The route suggestion that I received gave me the excellent combination of interesting sites and the local flavor of Portland. The E-Bile performed well and allowed me to see around 25 miles of Portland in about 4 hours.

Our guide was fun and knowledgeable/helpful. The route was mostly easy, with just a small area with some climbing that got our blood pumping. Was a great way to see the city in a different way.
