This company cancelled our VTT guided tours the day before we flew to the island. They said they decided to take other business instead?? Frustrating as we were in communication often and they had already confirmed their availability for days that we would be on the island. As we invested to go here for biking (Covid tests, bike luggage, flights, accommodation, van rental), we pleaded for them to find another person as we were not able to find another company. The owner, Himar, organized a shuttle service, however, did not clarify that they would drop off in an area where the track would end and would take my husband 10hours to find his way back!! We assumed we had hired a shuttle service for the day. This driver charged him 80euros for just dropping him off with no advice or help. He had no food and water and had a VTT bike in an area that was not always downhill!! He had to walk uphill at times. In the end, all we got was an apology with a ton of excuses from Himar. He had the nerve to offer us 50% off another tour!!! Selfish company who ripped us off and had zero concern for our safety. It could have ended a lot worse... it’s a good thing my husband was fit, a very good rider used to the most advanced tracks in Switzerland and France. Also, from what we saw, there is not much downhill/vtt on this island as advertised. More enduro.I spent five days with friends biking on great trails of Gran Canaria. Trip was fully tailored according to our wishes, we got shuttle ride up to mountains and then enjoyed best downhill trails with really nice views. I spent five days with friends biking on great trails of Gran Canaria. Trip was fully tailored according to our wishes, we got shuttle ride up to mountains and then enjoyed best downhill trails with really nice views. Guides know trails very well and and provide necessary info before every ride. Guides are also fast riders, speed is enough for pro riders as well. If you are looking for best Enduro / DH / Trail biking, I can recommend DH Guide Canarias, I will visit again!Me and my boyfriend did 2 days of riding with these guys and already cant wait to come back to ride more with them. I contacted him again the day after but he never got back. Needless to say I’m very dissapointed. Perhaps I was just unlucky, but my advice is that if you want to plan your holiday don’t trust this guy.Brilliant day organized by Himar and his team, rental bike was amazing ( I think I was lucky enough to be in Himars own bike on the day) but others out were on top quality bikes.
