This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Chania Town, Chania Town, Chania Prefecture, Crete
As soon as we get together, we'll make our way out of Chania's city centre, in our private a/c vehicle, heading to our first stop, where we'll have time to meet each other.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Chania Prefecture, Chania Prefecture, Crete
After a short drive, we'll make our first stop at a quite place, where we'll take our time to breathe, relax. A special wine tasting will get our taste buds going.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Therisos gorge, Vasiliou Poulaka, Perivolia 731 00, Greece
We continue our trip through a breathtaking gorge, on the outskirts of White Mountains, to a small village where time has luckily stopped.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Lefka Ori, Greece
On this second stop, we'll taste local foods & Cretan delicacies, raki (the local spirit), olive oil & more… while meeting people & their culture.
Optional: short distance walk to discover a small hidden path & majestic olive trees, thousands of years old!
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes
Stop At: Lefka Ori, Greece
Driving through the mountain roads with the alpine scenery full of trees & grapevines, we'll arrive at the final stop, for our main Gastronomic Meal.
Before that, a unique experience will take place: we'll visit a family's wine cellar & taste their wine direct from the barrels to our glass.
Our menu includes the core of the world-renowned Cretan diet & will satisfy our senses & stomach: salads, appetizers, main dishes slow cooked or in the oven, home made wine & dessert.
It is based on Ingredients & produce that are growing seasonally in local gardens or even wild foraged.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Keramia 731 00, Greece
On our way back to the meeting point, the mountain views will be the ideal closing stage of our tour.

They made the day in the White Mountains enjoyable and successfully introduced us to Cretan restauranteurs who made incredible and authentic meals from old family recipes. Having had craft beer tour in Rethymno's old town, our guide Michael, suggested us to take this tour, as we were moving to Chania. We were looking for local Cretan food & culture and that was a blast. Our stay in Chania, wouldn't be the same if we hadn't the experience of Eat & Crete Good Tour. As described it is an out of the box, highly personable, non-touristy tour. We visited small, almost abandoned villages on White Mountains range, we tasted local food made from organic products, had home made wines, entered local's people cellars...and so many more. Our guide was funny & really connected with the environment & the people. Go on and book it, you'll not regret it.
