According to Cham legend, one day a dragon flew to Non Nuoc beach and laid an egg there. After a long time, the egg hatched and a beautiful girl stepped out of the egg. The egg shell was broken into 5 pieces that became the five magical mountains as we see today.
In 1825, emperor Minh Mang named this mountain complex Marble Mountains, which means “Ngu Hanh Son” in Vietnamese. I contacted the Easy Rider team the night before via WhatsApp (+84888666690) and they were able to book me in with a guide for the following morning! I was a solo traveler and had already spent some time in Vietnam. They adapted one of their itineraries to suit me, which was fantastic. My guide and driver, Tim arrived bang on time to pick me up at my hotel in the morning. Tim was super friendly and easy to talk to with perfect English. We drove from Da Nang via the Hai Van Pass to Hue. I wanted to see the Imperial Citadel in Hue so Tim dropped me off there so I could view it in my own time. After a delicious lunch we headed back to Da Nang. This time we stopped at the Tam Giang Lagoon to see the oyster farmers and then we had a swim in the fresh waters of Suoi Mo Waterfall. Finally driving along the Hai Van Pass again. It was a perfect and very relaxed day. Being the passenger meant I could chill, enjoy the views and take photos and videos along the way. Tim also makes regular stops for photos, drink fresh coconuts and to stretch your legs. I throughly recommend Easy Rider tours. It’s such a great way to see this beautiful country. What can I say except an absolute must do in Vietnam! What can I say except an absolute must do in Vietnam! We were able to organise the tour the night before through WhatsApp, and able to cater the experience to suit our needs. We were lucky enough to have Nhât as our guide for the day. He met us at our accommodation in Hue, and helped me (as a first time bike rider) become comfortable with the bike and riding. He also made sure we didn’t have to carry our backpacks for the journey which was amazing. We visited fishing villages, a waterfall, a gorgeous place along the beach for lunch, Da Nang, a couple of drink stops and of course the Hai Van Pass! It truely was such an incredible day. Nhât also gave us brilliant recommendations for Hoi An. If you’re tossing up whether to book, just do it!! You won’t regret it :)Great experience, excellent drivers and very friendly. They thought us a lot about the area and they know all the good spots. Would highly recommend it.

Today we did the tour from Hue to Hoi An together with our drivers Nhật and Nhàn. They both were excellent tour guides and brought us to the best spots to see along the way. They took their time to give more information about each interesting spot and knew the best places to stop for pictures. The bikes that they have are comfortable and pleasant to sit on for longer times. Furthermore, both Nhật and Nhàn drove us safely trough the busy streets of the various cities. The orgsnisation was very good as they brought water and rain poncho’s for us. We easily requested the desired pickup and dropoff locations according to where we stayed and they carried the backpack on the back of the motorcycle! We really enjoyed travelling from Hue to Hoi An today with Nhật and Nhàn as our drivers. I definitely recommend booking this tour to everybody! Be prepared to be amazed!
