Via the highway to the Cayon of Tara River, the deepest canyon in Europe and after a few stops, Tara Springs, old wired bridge, etc we will reach the Đurđevića Tara Bridge provides a unique view of the fast river and the surrounding nature, especially if you dare to "fly" from one side to the other, by zip line. (not included in the price)...
Via panoramic road, through small picturesque villages, through the black pine forest whose grandiose trees, up to 50 m in height, withstand a full 400 years lead us to the final destination, Black Lake, well known as the "Montenegrin eyes"
Check our other option for North of Montenegro with Moraca canyon and Biograd Lake also. Shorter and cheaper but memorable tour also.

My husband & I travelled to Zabljak and the Durmitor National Park with Dimitrije from Trip & Travel, Montenegro as our guide and driver. It is worth doing the walk around Black Lake and in the late afternoon one can enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the lake as the sun sets. The half or full day white water rafting on the Tara River is gentle and can be easily enjoyed by all ages. The water is clear and the scenery is stunning. We also did the zip line across the Tara Canyon and it was exhilarating and we felt very safe. On our trip from Podgorica up to Zabljak, Dimitrije showed us all the relevant sights including Ostrog Monastery. The information Dimitrije provided was excellent and his English is very good with a great sense of humour too. The car was comfortable and every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and to enjoy our experience in northern Montenegro. We would highly recommend visiting this area of Montenegro and Dimitrije’s tour services.co6969

He is a careful driver and a good guide who is very attentive with his work. He was interested in every detail to make sure that I was comfortable. We traveled in December so due to the short days we only visited Durmitor National Park and Tara canyon, however our tour operator was kind enough to refund us for the places we missed out on.The owner of the tour agency Mr Dimitri himself took us around as he wanted us to be in safe hands due to landslides in the alternate routes to the national park. He was very nice to us and took lot of interest in telling us about Montenegro. Talking about the locales themselves the Black lake was splendid! Just a day after the fresh shower of snow, the national park looked mystical ! I tried zip lining at the Tara canyon for the first time in my life, and the experience was exhilarating!! Since we missed out on Biogradska national park and Moraca monastery due to landslides, Dimitri showed us around Podgorica city by night. All in all definitely recommend this little country with so much to offer!!
