Enjoy a wine tasting by the owner and winemaker, Gregory Brink Louw. Taste 4 different wines from the Constantia Valley (including Silvermist's awesome & rare Organic Wines) while experiencing the incredible views over Constantia, the back of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles.
Then move into the African theatre where you will get a drum to play. You will meet the best drummers in South Africa and learn how to play a drum like a master.
The theatre is adorned with the finest collection of African musical instruments. Learn their history and how they are played.

What an incredible high energy experience! A journey through the history of drums with lots of energy and audience engagement. The cast is amazing too. Highly recommend. We took our 3 children ages 10, 9 and 7 and they can’t wait to go again.

We really enjoyed Greg's passion for what he does. And lastly, the rooibos tea tasting was special. Never seen that before. Such an awesome evening at Silvermist and Drumstruck. Excellent tasting of different wines of the Constantia Valley, which was given by the owner and wine-maker of Silvermist. There were freshly made ice-teas for the non-drinkers, infused with various flavors to match the wines being tasted - delicious! Following the tasting, we were taken on a musical journey through Africa, through the ages! What a treat. The performers were so talented, and created such a fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. I loved the fact that the performance was interactive, with the audience being able to drum along on their own little drum. I left the Drumstruck studio feeling energized, and endorphin-fueled! What a great experience, and something so different. Most enjoyable, and I can highly recommend Drumstruck and Silvermist. The only thing missing, in my opinion, were some proper snacks/canapes to go with the tasting, or possibly before going into the Drumstruck studio. Such an energy-filled and enjoyable experience for young and old alike. Pre show drinks were an audience with the winemaker of Silvermist, tasting his selection of wines and telling his stories. Kids ran free on the lawns playing soccer whilst adults listened and drank wine or tea. The show was educational, lively and great fun. My kids of 6 & 12 years especially enjoyed the collaborative drumming and learning the history of the drums. Great experience and very worth doing. Small intimate venue. Lovely!
