This was a wonderful addition to our family vacation. Enjoyed listening to the many stories and history of the area. The tour was seamlessly generated real time using our phones GPS as it pointed out interesting places and some amazing hikes that we didn't even know existed (and we've been coming to Tahoe for over 30 years). Three stops of note (of well over 20 on this tour) were Van Sickle Park Near Southshore Stateline, the Tallac Historic Site near Camp Richardson, and Inspiration Point overlooking the incredible Emerald Bay. We weren't able to stop at all the suggested stops this time due to time constraints but they all sounded really interesting and we will definitely add them to our bucket list for next time. Being able to also download the free on line hiking map brochure was a real plus. Most definitely worth the price. The concept is very good. The execution is very frustrating. The concept is very good. The execution is very frustrating. It was very difficult at first to get to the exact starting spot for at the Hard Rock. It out me in the middle of an entrance where you can't park to listen to the instructions. Getting back to the app after a stop doesn't always work well. I kept getting a message saying that I was lost and off the path. The first time it caused me to turn around and retrace steps. I wasted about 15 minutes. It was because of a temporary loss of signal. This should be anticipated in that area. For $12 its hard to complain, but it was just OK.We loved using the driving tour from South Lake Tahoe to Tahoe City! We loved using the driving tour from South Lake Tahoe to Tahoe City! The driving directions were clear and gave plenty of advance warning about lanes to be in. The background info was interesting. The route took us off the beaten path a little and pointed out som locations that we would have skipped. We stopped a few times and hiked. My only trouble was that the app owner said to end the route if stopping for more than a few minutes. I was not able to resume the route and had to download everything all over which was hard in a remote hiking area. But one I got the hang of the features provided, it was great! I plan to use Voice Map again.Poor tour information. We did travel twice around the Lake Tahoe and both times used Audio Tours: VoiceMap ($11.99) and Action Tour Guide ($10). Strongly recommend to by Auction Tour guide .

It was sometimes difficult to get the your playing again. Did also lose signal once.
