We recently (late June) went on the Amazing Bastei Bridge and Tisa Walls Labyrinth tour that included both Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Our guide Jitka K and driver Milan V were great! Milan was extremely kind in helping one of the two of us who was experiencing leg pain during the tour, especially during the Tisa Walls Labyrinth part of the excursion. Jitka was a fount of knowledge with regard to the area, including its history. She was just a pleasure to be around and to have as our guide. The tour itself was a great value and well worth the money. We particularly enjoyed the experience of dining in the Czech restaurant that was included in the tour. This was a highlight of our trip to Saxony. This tour is value for money. The tour company owner Milan himself drove us around and explained how the different rock formations took shape. Bastei Bridge and Tissa Labyrinth both require quite a bit of walking, but the views within and from these 2 locations are really breathtaking. The tour cost included water, a small snack and beverage, and between the 2 sites a traditional Czech lunch, pick-up and drop from out hotel in Dresden. As vegetarians, we had a very limited option for lunch, so we didn't really get to taste traditional Czech cuisine. What a very pleasant. We had intended just to do Dresden which on reflection would have been disappointing. What a very pleasant. We had intended just to do Dresden which on reflection would have been disappointing. The tour operators are very helpful and flexible about pickups which was great as we were steaming in from Berlin. Bastei is extraordinary and so worth the time. The guide was excellent and very informative on and off the chosen subject. It might come as a surprise that the Company is actually Czech and so don’t speak German and that you do going across the border into the Czech Republic. The park is gorgeous but it should be mentioned that the terrain is very steep down and then up exacerbated by the fact that a fire last year has closed up part of the trip necessitates a very steep climb to lunch. Lunch was excellent: good Czech fare. Beer is Czech so great too! The activity in the afternoon is to a beautiful area high up in the park with amazing views. All in all: amazing and well done Saxon Tours
