You do know where to grab tacos, but don't want to decide? Let us do the deciding for you.
A handful of different types of tacos, margs, chips and salsa. 3 alcoholic beverages are included.
Inclusions
- Lunch - It's more of a Happy Linner tour (late lunch/early dinner/Happy Hour time) - 5 tasting locations (3 alcohol tastings included), walking, history and fun!
- Alcoholic Beverages - 3 alcoholic drinks included in the tour
- Snacks - Chips and salsa included at most of the tasting stops
What to expect
3.5ish hours walking in downtown Santa Barbara, learning about some of interesting history and of course eat. We have a variety of tacos and drinks from some of our favorite local restaurants. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic options available. Please note, there is one bar on the tour, if there is someone under 21 they will have to stand outside the perimeter.

• Queso Birria Taco, Potato Taquito and a cocktail (not hard liquor) - Start your tour off on the right foot and get a delicious queso birria taco, potato taquito and a drink...
• Margarita! - Take a break between tacos and enjoy a strawberry marg and some nosh (chips and salsa)
• Crunchy Taco Time - Some like them crunchy, some like them soft, you get them both on this tour!
• Street Tacos and Marg - Street tacos paired with a marg at one of our fave downtown dive bars! Under 21? Sorry, you have to stay outside.
• Fish Taco - Fabulous fried fish taco! Don't like fish? No problem, we have a meat and a vegetarian option available.

- We do our best to accommodate food allergies/restrictions but we must know about them ahead of time. We may not be able to accommodate all requests.
- Not recommended for slow walkers (we DO have private tours available)
- If you are unable to walk or walk on the slow side - please looking into a private tour experience
- CA is not currently enforcing masks to be worn inside. Outside they do not need to be worn, please feel free to wear yours. Private tours are available.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

My taco tour was such a fun experience. I'm a longtime local of Santa Barbara and not only did I eat delicious food from several local eateries I had not yet been to but I also learned tons of facts about my beloved town that I did not know! The guide was upbeat, knowledgeable and on schedule (much appreciated). She told me not to fill up on the chips and that was good advice. Over the course of the three+ hours, I ate 7 tacos, 2 churros, 2 margaritas and my cup runeth over in horchata. Every meal was superb and the drinks were delicious too. I got home, changed my name to Taco and went straight to bed :) Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting SB and any longtime local who is looking to change up the routine. What a lovely afternoon spent eating delicious tacos paired with yummy drinks! The owner, Evan, made the whole process easy and fun to be a part of and Nancy, the host for the tour, was an absolute joy to listen and learn all about Santa Barbara from. You will not leave this tour disappointed or hungry! :P My personal favorite was our stop at Yona Redz serving up the tastiest Birria taco with mouth watering consume sauce that you MUST bathe your taco in! On top of everything else mentioned above you end your tour with the most delicious churros from Rudy’s paired with caramel sauce and horchata.. I can’t think of a better ending to an already amazing adventure. What a fun afternoon spent tasting the most wonderful tacos and accompanying drinks. Each location had something special from the margaritas to the yummy salsa to the delicious sauces and authentic Mexican cuisine. I especially loved the sauce at Yona’s and the sweet finger licking churros paired with horchata at the end. So many interesting facts along the way about Santa Barbara’s rich history that I would have never guessed. Nancy is funny and an amazing guide, walking us through all the fun food and facts along the way. Would love to come back and take visiting guests or take a date on the tour. By far one of my favorite experiences! It’s hard to beat good food, great drinks, and just the right amount of Santa Barbara history. I was intrigued by the stories about how each restaurant became a successful part of the community. Being raised in a Latin family I was skeptical about the authenticity of the food but to my surprise the food selection could not be more spot on. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a few humorous facts along the way. I would highly recommend this experience and can’t wait to book our next tour!
