Our team of Cicerone certified guides will lead you through the brewing process as you sample some of the best beer Asheville has to offer. In between stops, our guides will share some of the local history. Asheville is a fascinating city with an exciting past. Pass By: BREW-ed Brewery Tours, Asheville, NC
This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Cicerone certified guide, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer.
At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. This means you'll sample a huge variety of styles in one afternoon!
In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour.

Stop At: Catawba Brewery, 63 Brook St, Asheville, NC 28803-2766
Your expert guide will meet you at Catawba Brewing, where you'll sample award winning beers and hear the story of one of Western North Carolina's Brewing Pioneers!
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Twin Leaf Brewery, 144 Coxe Ave, Asheville, NC 28801-4026
After Catawba, your group will head to Twin Leaf Brewery. At Twin Leaf, you'll get exclusive behind the scenes access to the production area, where you'll learn about the brewing process; from grain to glass. More delicious beer samples will be served, as you hear Twin Leaf's story.

Stop At: Green Man Brewery, 27 Buxton Ave, Asheville, NC 28801-4019
After Twin Leaf, your group will head to Green Man Brewery, one of Asheville's oldest breweries. At Green Man, you'll learn more about Asheville's brewing industry as you sip on some of Green Man's award winning beers!

Me and the husband had an awesome time. Learned a lot, excellent choices for sampling, and some history facts of Asheville. Will do again, pricing was excellent. Definitely, ask for Jo for your next tour, she won’t disappoint.

Hands down the BREW-ed tour was one of the best tours we have ever taken. This was a fantastic tour and education on the brewery culture of Asheville and beer brewing in general. There were 15 in our group, so small enough to ask questions and get information. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and being the nerd that I am, I took notes on a few things. The itinerary we had didn't have a ton of walking which was nice. The 3 breweries we visited were all within 2 blocks of each other and there were 2-3 beers tried at each location. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in learning more about beer and wants to try some fantastic local brews.
