My wife and I originally signed up for the full day tour but the political climate changed so they had to resort to the alternate tour. The alternate was only a half day and we were refunded half our money. The new tour was very informative no less interesting. There was a choice when visiting the war museum. You can explore for the hour given by the tour guide and return to the bus with him or you can stay and fully explore it and return on your own time. I suggest doing the latter because an hour is no where near enough time. It took us about four hours or so to get through everything. It was a fun time.Although the DMZ has a bit of a carnival atmosphere it is non the less an important and serious place worth visiting. It would be a good idea for young people to study up on Korean history and the Korean conflict in particular.

Our tour guide Kim was amazing at explaining everything, spoke and understood English very well and was able to answer very intricate historic questions - the guy knows his dates and facts VERY well. Would highly recommend this tour! We can't wait to go back to South Korea again and experience more of it's beauty.Lots of info in short time, but overall very much worth the money.
