Overview
So after the internship you will get a license IKO (International Kitesurf Organization) allowing you to rent equipment when you reach the level 3K (Riding upwind). Your online certification becomes your passport to continue your IKO training wherever you want in the world. Your IKO account will also allow you to watch videos and access educational tools to progress through the IKO curriculum. Learning kite in an IKO certified school is a guarantee of a quality education, fun but terribly effective.

What to expect
Theory on the beach, the wind, safety, how to set the kite, how to fly the kite. Then we go in the water and learn how to control the kite. You have to validate 8 exercises before going on the board.

Riko and his crew were great and super friendly during my time in Koh Pha-ngan. I had a bit of kiting experience and described what I was looking to improve on and Riko and instructor Paulo coached me on staying upwind, working on my transitions, and getting a little air here and there. Riko has all the gear you need including the water shoes, helmet, and a large quiver of kites. It’s a perfect location to learn and also to chill while you’re taking a break or watching the other kiters. There’s a few hostels with food and drinks right there on the beach, the shopping market and restaurants are a short walk away, and Thai massage about 10 feet away. Riko also gave me tips for exploring the island. You can’t go wrong in choosing to learn to kite surf with Accrokite. And the bonus at the end was getting my iko level 3 certificate, great times learning here.Les cours sont de qualités ! This was my 3rd Phangan visit and second time taking kitesurfing lessons. Accrokite is at a very good kitesurfing spot - most of the days we had perfect wind and water is not too deep. I'm very happy how Accrokite crew handled customers - Riko kept me updated about wind conditions daily which gave me an opportunity to plan my vacation days better, I could pay with card and my instructor Paulo was great at communicating with me, help to find my kitesurfing weak spots and really focused on improving my skill. As a beginner you have bit of information overload (steer the kite, check your body position, check your board, feel the wind, check your surrounding and list goes on) but Paulo helped to minimize information amount, always checked my back and he was constantly working with me. Accrokite kitesurfing gear was very good (kite, harness, board of course but also small things as wetsuit boots, life vest etc.) In the end I got my official IKO certificate :) All in all i'm a happy customer and I would definitely recommend Accrokite :) Big thanks Riko and Paulo - for sure I'll be back :)
