So it was my first time in Brazil, Sao Paulo and I wanted to familiarize myself with the area. I stumbled upon concrete jungles walks on the internet. Sent an email confirming the time and kind of walk I wanted to do. With minutes I got a confirmation email with the date, time and meeting point. I was skeptical at first thinking to myself:"How can this be legitimate? What if its a way of luring people for human trafficking?" Lol However, long story short I did the free historic walking tour and it was amazing. The guy (forgot his name) was so friendly, kind and informative. He gave us advice the must dos and don'ts, the food as well as the resturants we should visit while in Sao Paul. We really enjoyed the feijoada and caiparinhas as per his recommendation. Thanks for your patience and giving us, your time of day. You really made Sao Paulo a memorable place for us. To all those visiting Sao Paulo make sure you contact concrete jungles walks. The walks are free ranging from inner city walks, historic walks, and the new graffity walks. Thanks.I did the Urban-Tour and it was really interesting, the guide was cool and gave a lot of advices what we also have to do/see in Sao Paulo. I booked this tour as a birthday gift for my friend who was visiting São Paulo. According to my friend, this was one of the best tour he's ever been to. Giuliano was very kind and took him to several unseen parts in the city that he could'nt have visited on his own. Giuliano briefed him about politics, geography, architecture, lifestyle, food, music, history, art etc. during the whole tour making the whole Experience so much better than just a walking tour. I would myself take this Experience when I am in Brazil one day. 5 Stars. Go For It. Thank you Giuliano.A best decision to go on a walking tour with Guiliano. A best decision to go on a walking tour with Guiliano. He's very professional yet personable and genuine. He's very knowledgeable not just about SP but also of Europe, often tying the histories together. It's clear he has much to share. I learnt much about the history of SP and Brazil, its culture, migration, economics. The tour covered a little of everything but enough to give a good overview for someone new to the city. The walk ended at a perfect location with plenty of options for food, sightseeing and the subway. As a solo female traveller, Guiliano put me at east and explained the dynamics of the city. Although as a tourist, I'd never be able to move around like a local but his explanations helped me to immerse and more fully appreciate the city. I'd highly recommend anyone visiting SP to go on this tour.
