What to expect
During this activity you will have the opportunity to learn what its like to scuba dive without having to be certified. You will get to know the wonders of the ocean and will be able to see marine turtles and other up close. Must know how to swim.

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
- Service animals allowed
- Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Most travelers can participate
- Must know how to swim
- Please visits the PADI medical form. If you answer any yes to the following you will need medical clearance form your doctor.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

Our trip got canceled due to weather, which was not their fault. However, we were not warned cancellation was a possibility and we might have scheduled our dive several days earlier so that we could try again later in our trip if needed (but instead had scheduled it on the last full day of our trip). Additionally, maybe they couldn’t have predicted how bad the wind would be, but it was cancelled AT the 7am check in, after we’d woken up at 5am, paid for a rental car, and driven an hour to get there. They offered us snorkeling instead, which we would have taken but it would have cost us another small fortune to keep the rental car longer (and we weren’t prepared for snorkeling by having the right items). If they’d warned us cancellation could be possible weather permitting but that snorkeling may be a backup, we could have prepared for such an eventuality and taken them up on snorkeling, which would have been better than nothing. And nothing is what we got, because all other major attractions in the area were fully booked. Again, they can’t control the weather, but it seems like more advanced notice a few ways generally could have taken place.If you can’t mouth breathe, this isn’t for you. I have a cpap machine and I just couldn’t get it down without my nose wanting to join the party. Gave up and just snorkeled. Instructor was excellent, calm and reassuring. The second dive was over a reef with lots of ocean life, including some rays and turtles.Louis and his crew were absolutely amazing! They were extremely patient, helpful, and provided all sorts of tips and tricks to make the experience so much more fun! Louis and his crew were absolutely amazing! They were extremely patient, helpful, and provided all sorts of tips and tricks to make the experience so much more fun! At the second site we saw sea turtles, a nurse shark, an octopus, and all sorts of fish! They truly care about the environment and keeping ocean clean! We learned that Louis and his crew helped reconstruct coral reefs after hurricane Maria. Well worth every cent and recommend 12 out of 10! Went Scuba diving for the first time and had the most incredible experience. I was a little nervous but Luis was my instructor and he made me feel really safe and was a really patient teacher. The dive was insane, we saw a shark, a couple turtles and an octopus! We spent the time on the boat hanging out, cracking jokes while Luis told us crazy stories about his life and different dives. Great vibes all day, and the perfect way to start my Puerto Rico trip. 5 stars for Sea Ventures, 10 stars for Luis.
