I can't recommend this experience highly enough! After carefully considering our options, I chose this tour and got in touch with the company months ahead of our visit to Derry. I knew I wanted the chance to learn about both the modern history, and centuries past. I was aware that our stay in Derry would be brief...little did I know, thanks to cancelled and delayed flights, even briefer than originally planned! With that background information, I can honestly say this was the best way to spend two hours in Derry, a moving and informative personalized experience that was absolutely worth every penny! Lára, our guide, was so welcoming and personable, we'd have gladly spent all day with her. She knows the city history and layout like the back of her hand - the official stories, the complicated truths, and the little-known incidentals that really make the past come alive.
