A Horse Drawn Carriage Tour of Charleston's Historic District. You will see many mansions of the wealthy during the leisurely pace through the largest Historic District in America. Most building in Charleston predate the Civil War.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Charleston City Market, 188 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401-3155
You have some free time after your carriage tour to browse the City Market which is four blocks long. There are many vendors that sell local arts and crafts.

Stop At: Fort Sumter National Monument, Charleston, SC 29482-9748
We are the ONLY tour company in Myrtle Beach that actually tours INSIDE Fort Sumter. You get a guided tour of this historic fort, best known for the "First Shot of the Civil War". This tour also includes a Boat Tour of Charleston Harbor. You will be served a box lunch on the tour boat.

What a GREAT day trip!! The Horse carriage ride and guide were excellent. The trip to Fort Sumter was very good and Boone Plantation was beautiful and the people were so sweet.

The buggy ride with our horse Chico..our tour guy was fun..knowledgeable about Charleston history...seeing the beautiful homes..it was fun...Fort Sumter was interesting..and enjoyed busy to Boone Hall..but not enough time to enough everything..very tight bus schedule Thou one issue..I called to ...
The buggy ride with our horse Chico..our tour guy was fun..knowledgeable about Charleston history...seeing the beautiful homes..it was fun...Fort Sumter was interesting..and enjoyed busy to Boone Hall..but not enough time to enough everything..very tight bus schedule Thou one issue..I called to confirm pick up time..3 days before the trip..was told that days tour might be cancelled due to not a full bus...was asked to change date last minute..frustrating that no text/email was sent with that information...I was only in myrtle beach 5 days..so was tough to change the date..luckily I could..but should have been told sooner..would have been extremely disappointed if that date was cancelled and I missed out on the trip...more communication would be helpfulpattytjohnson

Enjoyed the Overview of Charleston & our Bus driver Wendy. Suggest people bring their own lunch or consider Chick Fil A! (The bus in front of us had Chick Fil A for their lunch.)
