Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
You are picked up at 6.00 a.m. from your residence in Kandy and drives straight away to the Lion Rock. You will visit the eight wonder of the world, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world famous Sigiri paintings. It is an isolated rock, Kingdom more than 200m in height. You have to spend more than two and half hours.

Stop At: Sigiriya Village Tours B, 4th Mils post, Sigiriya Rd, Sigiriya 21121, Sri Lanka
Then your second destination is village tour to experience ancient village life with their day today activities including catamaran rides, bullock carriage ride, walk towards paddy fields, cookery demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan foods and enjoy a traditional meal.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, Kandy - Jaffna Highway, Dambulla 21100 Sri Lanka
Final stop is Dambulla cave temple, which is the largest and the best preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. The caves were converted in to a temple complex by king Walagamba during the 1st century. There are about 153 Buddha status and murals, which covers 2100 square meters. You have to spend around one and half hours to cover entire temple complex.
You are dropped back to your hotel in Kandy by the evening.

I love to meet locals on my travels and this is a good way, not only that but it is lovely to give work to an individual instead of a bigger organisation and you get the personal touches with that too. Buddhika knows his stuff, he is very knowledgeable about his country's history, and it's present too, he knows his way around. It can be a challenge to find a tour guide travelling solo that charge a fair rate, some places will charge you for two people minimum, but Buddhika did not do that. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you Buddhika.Buddhika does an excellent service! He’s really kind and friendly. We were a group of four and had loads of extra ideas and wishes — not as easy though! He dealt with it and did a good job. We went on a two day tour from Kandy to Dambulla over Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa and at least back to Kandy.

Our driver showed many interesting places on the way to the orphanage and was waiting to bring us back. Only one thing spoilt our adventure. We agreed with the driver to pick us up in the morning in 2 different hotels...
We were happy to find this transfer service. The price is very reasonable. Our driver showed many interesting places on the way to the orphanage and was waiting to bring us back. Only one thing spoilt our adventure. We agreed with the driver to pick us up in the morning in 2 different hotels (our friends and we were living in different places) and bring to the elephant park for elephant morning feeding. Unfortunately because of traffic jam we were late and skipped the feeding. So doublecheck the time that the driver needs for the trip regarding the traffic, daytime and day if the week.
