Our day started early today at 7AM. Right from the beginning out trip advisers Daniel (driver) and Juan Pastor (tour guide) were welcoming and pleasant. Pastor had loads of experience and was able to provide insights on each of the spots we visited. His suggestion on the common pitfalls during our shopping expr was excellent. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is visiting Cancun. You would be lucky if you get Pastor as your guide. The Cenote was very nice and the best thing in my opinion. The Cenote was very nice and the best thing in my opinion. The thing that was most disappointing to me and my family was the tour guide explanation, that felt like a conversation preaching into his pagan beliefs. I recommend you find another tour wherein the guide will be more history base and more accurate. It was a 13 hour trip. It was very hot. The food wasn’t good. You don’t get drink with your food it’s paid for separately. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the history. It was just so long and so so so HOT.

We booked this tour very last minute, the night before. I was apprehensive about spending a 14 hour day on the bus during a much-needed vacation. Days later I am back in the US and still thinking about what an amazing time this was, and how I will treasure the memories. The guides, Luis and Juan, do an amazing job orienting you to the Yucatán, Maya culture, and Chichen Itza. At every stop, they blended historical information with practical present-day advice. Their kindness and good humor really radiates. Juan is himself Mayan, and brings his love for his community to this work. Our guide at Chichen Itza, Maria, was also excellent. Maria is also Mayan, and is well-versed in the history and culture of this place. She covered so many highlights in an hour, and then gave great tips for what to do in our free time at the site. Chichen Itza really is a place you need to see—it’s incredible! It can be really hot, so consider buying some Gatorade at the canteen when you enter and keep some sunscreen in your pocket. Each of the intermediate stops was also really great. I loved the pibil buffet lunch and Mayan gift shop at Real Mayab. Swimming in the cenote was a blast. And the street food in Valladolid, which we hit just before a beautiful sunset, was some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Eddy, the bus driver, does a great job staying on schedule and making up time. It really is 14 hours but if you are willing to roll with it, it will be an unforgettable day and highlight of your trip.Very detailed and interesting in introducing Maya and Pyramid. The bus is very clean. The pyramid and cenote are amazing. Worth to visit them!
