This was my favorite tour out of four trips to Ireland. Seeing Newgrange and the Hill of Tara and learning from tour guide Liam about the wisdom of peoples from so long ago is a transformative experience that can reframe one's entire historical paradigm. It can connect one viscerally to the long lineage of humanity in unexpected and profound ways. I came away with a deeper respect and appreciation of my place in the grand evolving story of our species. Liam is a very knowledgeable and impassioned guide who genuinely cares about these places and the history not only of Ireland, but also of the human race, and he offers a great deal of insight to gently challenge various presuppositions about the ignorance of our ancestors. He weaves information together from a breadth of topics ranging across history, mythology, religion, archaeology, psychology, and science. Seeing Newgrange in person and touching the ancient carved stones was an awe-inspiring experience. We also visited Bective Abbey, Trim Castle, and the Hill of Tara, and learned a great deal about the history and use of each site, including fun anecdotes about films that were shot on site. The tour was well-paced, never dull nor too rushed, and I appreciated the on-theme music played during the drives. Going in a small group with such an informed guide also made this superior to the large bus tour to Newgrange that one of my friends went on—especially as Liam soon knew everyone's name and it all felt very friendly. As an additional courtesy, Liam made sure to take plenty of photos of each of us, and posted them for us to download later. I left feeling very inspired to read and study more, and Liam provided a reading list to back up and expand on all of his information. For locals and visitors to Ireland I offer this special tour my highest recommendation.I very much enjoyed Liam's tour to Newgrange, Trim, Tara. Newgrange is a place I wished to visit for some time now and I wasn't disappointed. Liam is very knowledgeable on ancient Irish history and world history, very enjoyable day, would recommend.

Really loved the Boyne valley tour with sites like Newgrange and the Hill of Tara. Liam definitely knew what he was talking about. But more importantly, aside from the historical facts of the sites, he gave us teachings on life & the spiritual realm. As a priestess myself, I recognized a lot of what he spoke about and even learned a great deal of knowledge that was new to me. Would definitely recommend these tours; great value for money and I'm already planning another trip to Ireland, hopefully taking more tours with Liam as well! Not only was everything absolutely fascinating and enchanting, but Liam was a wonderful host who even inspired me to look into more even after the tour was over. I was looking for a tour that would touch on the sacred history of Ireland, both Druid/Pagan and Christian. This tour is exactly that--Liam provided a great platform to think about spirituality and religious practice in a really comfortable way. We visited Newgrange, a ruined abbey, Trim Castle, and the Hill of Tara and talked about historical and religious factors that influenced how these locations functioned. My friend and I really enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this trip to anyone else curious about the sacred practices of Ireland.I was honored to be able to take a Sacred Irish Tours day trip with my family in August. I was honored to be able to take a Sacred Irish Tours day trip with my family in August. It was truly a spiritual awakening experience as my mother, grandmother, and I (three generations of women) toured the sacred sites of Ireland. We are American and had come to Ireland to reconnect with out Irish heritage. The entire trip was life changing, however the tour with Sacred Irish Tours was truly profound. Over a month later, I am still inspired by my experience. Liam had wonderful recommendations for books to read more about the topics and I have been enjoying his recommendations. I can not recommend Sacred Irish Tours more!
