I was looking for a one-day tour in the Moshi area. I love coffee. I am 67, my son and I wanted some good walking but nothing too much. This tour fit perfectly! Our guide was responsive to questions asked ahead of time. Pickup at our hotel was prompt. Another couple joined us to make a small group. The ride up to Materuni village was scenic although not without a bit of sliding in the mud - adventure! I call this a good 90 minute walk to the Waterfall since it had rained the day before. Scenic and informative to see coffee, bananas, maize and much more growing. The waterfall is awesome and simply fun to watch. Lunch in the village is traditional, perfectly prepared by Grandmother. I have lived and worked in Africa many years, this home cooked meal was a treat! Seeing, hearing about, and tasting Coffee in the traditional Chagga way surprised me and gave me and my son many good memories.
