We booked a helicopter ride from KTM to Kala Patthar for my family of 6. We were in touch with Mr. Mukti Pandey after looking at his online reviews, and we were so glad that we booked with him. It was an AMAZING experience. We flew from Kathmandu to Lukla, Lukla to Pheriche, and from Pheriche to Kala Patthar. On the way back our routes were - Kala Patthar to Pheriche, Pheriche to Everest View Hotel(for breakfast), Everest View Hotel to Lukla, and finally from Lukla to Kathamndu. Our flight captains-Chet Gurung and Prakash Sedhain gave us well-guided tour of the locations we passed by, and the mountains that we saw along the way. They helped us have a safe and fun in-flight experience. Mukti Pandey Ji’s service was one of a kind. We were in constant communication before our trip to figure out the details. He briefed us extensively the day before our trip, and was also present at the airport to make sure our trip goes smoothly. Our family had a memorable and a safe trip. Prima ochtend met Everest Experience. Het was een mooie ervaring om per helikopter naar een hoogte van 5500 meter te gaan en te genieten van de prachtige uitzichten op de Himalaya. In mijn beleving heeft dit bedrijf ook nog eens de beste prijs! Er kunnen maximaal 5 mensen mee per helicopter (naast de piloot). Één persoon zit naast de piloot en 4 op de achterbank. Aangezien er meerdere stoppen zijn, kan er dan ook van plaats gewisseld worden. Houd er rekening mee dat bovenop de boekingsprijs extra kosten komen (tax, toegang national park en ontbijt). Ik kan deze tour zeker aanraden! Overigens is de bestemming basecamp wel wat misleidend. Ik heb het basecamp zelf niet gezien!N7753QXmiker

Mr. Mukti went beyond answering my queries about the tour as this was my first Heli ride and was nervous about flying and assuming that I'd be sick and what not ( in my head). Everything went well with the weather being at its best and on top our pilot being the informative genius, who has scaled Mt. Everest (salute) and named every peaks and ranges for us. Please go ahead and grab that opportunity because it may never come back. I got to tick off my bucket list to see the Lukla Airport(world's dangerous airport) and to see the Everest ( Sagarmatha National Park) up close and pray there. Best things that happened that day: -spotless weather -witnessing Lukla airport - friendly people -falling in love with Everest -breakfast at the highest Hotel in the world(hotel Everest view) -Genius pilot -supportive staffs Reading about UNESCO world heritage sites(Sagarmatha National Park) in your Social Studies book and stepping on it, is 2 different things. Go for it.
