What to expect
First we go to Coyotes Cave, where we can see very beautiful canyone, have a jacuzzi in the river, enjoy the waterfalls and make jumps to the crystal water from different heights. To see the waterfalls we have to swim about 300ft.
After we move to another location and first have a lunch there in tropical forest in banana plantation. Then we start 2.5 miles hike to super beautiful waterfall. To get there we have to cross the river and swim about 50 ft.
We promise - you nether saw nothing more beautiful. You will be happy! After we take a ride back home and see the sunset from the big mountain.

This was the best excursion we took while in Costa Rica. Our guide was very informative about the area and very conscientious about our safety, plus he has a great sense of humour. Lunch was one of the best meals we had while in Costa Rica. The hiking and swimming to the waterfalls was a bit more challenging than we bargained for as we are in our 60’s but was totally worth it. We had extra time left after the last falls and lunch so our guide suggested another activity on the way back to hotel for an additional nominal fee (Entrance to park) which was also a great spot. What we really loved about Andrey’s tour was not only was this totally private he takes you to see beautiful locations that you would not usually experience on other tours . I advise anyone coming to Costa Rica to look up privatecostarica.com as Andrey has other amazing tours and is happy to tailor tours as he did for us . We loved our 3 mysterious waterfalls tour so much with Andrey we cancelled the other tours we already had booked and decided to book 2 additional tours with Andrey ( Rio Celeste and Arenal volcano) This was the best decision and totally changed our experience of Costa Rica . Due to our location in Guanacaste the Arenal volcano would have not been an option for us to do with other tour providers , which just goes to show how above and beyond Andrey went . This was an absolutely magical day for our whole family. The communication before our trip was just what I needed to prepare myself and kids for the day. It was like we spent the day with an old friend full of stories and info. The waterfalls were incredible. This tour was absolutely worth every penny. My kids were aged 6-13 and agree it was amazing. I’m wishing we had more than one day with Andrey. I wouldn’t change a single thing about this day. I would have given it more than 5 stars if I could. I booked this tour based on reviews and they were all such glowing accounts I kind of didn’t believe they were true, but I can confirm they weren’t lying. Book this trip if you are anywhere near this area of Costa Rica
