My family and I had a great time together visiting Daufuskie Island. The Island Head ferry ride was relaxing, beach so beautiful, food at D’fuskie’s and drinks at Rum Distillery were all delicious, riding a golf cart around the island so fun, great live music playing at Freeport Marina, and etc. ...
My family and I had a great time together visiting Daufuskie Island. The Island Head ferry ride was relaxing, beach so beautiful, food at D’fuskie’s and drinks at Rum Distillery were all delicious, riding a golf cart around the island so fun, great live music playing at Freeport Marina, and etc. It was a fun day!Expected an enjoyable boat ride to and from the island on the boat as pictured with a bar and restroom. Instead got a little fishing boat with no protection from the cold. It was horrible. Island very backward, golf cart old and uncomfortable. Most sights closed so not much to enjoy. Would not re...
Expected an enjoyable boat ride to and from the island on the boat as pictured with a bar and restroom. Instead got a little fishing boat with no protection from the cold. It was horrible. Island very backward, golf cart old and uncomfortable. Most sights closed so not much to enjoy. Would not recommend.Great experience. Map was a bit hard to navigate but a wonderful experience. Enjoyed going to different places at our own pace. I do wish there would've been a better explanation of how much time we were going to spend on the island and advice on how to pack/what to pack.

Took the boat out of Broad Creek and into Freeport. Boat was nice with restroom and bar on board. Golf cart was waiting for us once we got off the boat. Explored the island and spent a couple hours at the beach. Finished the trip off at Daufuskie Crab Co right on the river...
