Enjoy an unforgettable adventure at the waterfalls of Damajagua in the Dominican Republic, located at the confluence of emerald waters, deep in a tropical rainforest of the Cordillera Septentrional.
27 refreshing waterfalls have been chiseled by Mother Nature’s celestial mallet. Ideal for visitors who love nature, while also experiencing an adrenaline-fueled day. Hop on the back of a safari-style truck, where a team of experienced guides and drivers await. During this opportunity, 12 of the 27 stunning waterfalls will be enjoyed.
After a short safety briefing, glide across the natural water springs, bathing in heavenly caves. Flanked by the whistling of exotic bird life, and the banks of the Damajagua River, the rustling of the streams arouse a state of stillness.
A labyrinth of tunnels and chutes are scattered around the waterfalls, some reaching heights of up to 13 feet. Somersault with the grace of aquatic birds, as your guide keep a watchful eye. Once arrived at the 12th waterfall the adventure begins! You will return through each level by jumping, swimming and sliding down natural waterslides, following the expert instruction from our guides.
Walk an interpretative rainforest trail to come face-to-face with Mother Earth, and wildlife waits to be greeted. Leap headfirst, swimming crossways, and sliding down natural waterslides. Explore unpredictable falls, with teasing names like “La Virgen” and “La Tinajita.”

We did the waterfall tour with adventure runners. We booked via email and they answered every question very quickly! Even through we stayed in an Airbnb in puerto plata town they picked us up directly in front of the building. They were punctual and very friendly! The waterfall tour was very fun...

Even through we stayed in an Airbnb in puerto plata town they picked us up directly in front of the building. They were punctual and very friendly! The waterfall tour was very funny and a real adventure with the jumps and slides. The guides were funny and helpful! We really enjoyed the trip although there wasn’t thaaaat much water due to dry season. Also the tour only took 5 hours but it was really fun so it’s 100% recommendable! Thank you for being that flexible with the pick up point!Glen_S

Although tour guide and local guides were friendly and nice, we ended up seeing around only 5 waterfalls with just two of them jumps, rest sliding down a small „waterfall“ The entire tour took less than 3 hours, the actual waterfall part less than an hour. 7 hour is clearly a false advertisement....

They should clearly indicate that tour is subject to weather condition (dried up water due to dry season for example) otherwise it‘s very misleading. Disappointed overall.LoveyH74

Awesome time exploring the waterfalls with our tour guy Dan Marino at Runners. Our bus driver Juan aka Morgan Freeman was the best! The lunch was delicious as well. If you like adventure check out this tour with your family and friends!

I had the best time with Julio and Bomba. My family went on multiple excursions and Bomba's driving was the smoothest ride. Also, Julio was funny, knowledgeable, and showed true passion for the Artisans and the DR. Request these two if you are in Puerta Plata

Stunning experience. The landscape is breathtaking and we had a whole lot of adrenaline jumping in the water. Our guide, Julio was very friendly and taught us a lot about Dominican Republic. Our driver, Bomba was also really nice and helpful during this amazing day. A big thank you to them!
