Kalee was so knowledgeable and provided us with fascinating history about Grapevine we never knew... and the restaurants and win...
My husband and I love food tours! We do them whenever we travel! We live in DFW, and have for the last 15 years and it was so wonderful to do a local food tour finally! Kalee was so knowledgeable and provided us with fascinating history about Grapevine we never knew... and the restaurants and wineries were great to our group. Also, I'm a vegetarian (was the only one in our group) and I'm thankful that without a blink of an eye she made sure I was taken care of!This was a well-orchestrated pub and grub crawl on foot in the heart of Grapevine, full of stories from the locals and great history too! We encountered so much yummy food, we needed to-go boxes. And each of us had Texas-sized samples of at least 11 beers. Kalee took great care of us, making sure...
This was a well-orchestrated pub and grub crawl on foot in the heart of Grapevine, full of stories from the locals and great history too! We encountered so much yummy food, we needed to-go boxes. And each of us had Texas-sized samples of at least 11 beers. Kalee took great care of us, making sure we felt comfortable and weren’t rushed at each stop along the way. This was a great adventure with my Dad for Father’s Day and also a wonderful way to find and support mom and pop places just around the corner. When you go, make sure to skip breakfast and cancel any dinner plans as you will leave with a full stomach, new memories, and a happy heart!What a great way to learn and walk and eat and wine taste! Esparza’s greeted us with their famous Margaritas and a fried avocado filled with shredded chicken. They accommodated me nicely with two corn tortillas filled with avocado and shredded chicken. (Gluten and Dairy free, last minute request)...
What a great way to learn and walk and eat and wine taste! Esparza’s greeted us with their famous Margaritas and a fried avocado filled with shredded chicken. They accommodated me nicely with two corn tortillas filled with avocado and shredded chicken. (Gluten and Dairy free, last minute request) The Messina Hof tasting room was beautiful and spacious. I wanted to take home every wine I tasted. Our informative and friendly guide, Patti, always went out of her way to answer a question or make sure every need was met. The olive oil & balsamic vinegar shop had so many flavors, you could spend all day. But you want to make sure and save time for the mind blowing fudge shop! Unique flavors, deigns and color, but most importantly the fudge was delicious!What a fabulous experience! Audrey was very informative with Grapevine's history and the food and drink stops were awesome. Will be suggesting to everyone and looking forward to our next time!
