Cycling to the Sea by E-Bike along the "Trammino" Cycle Path
Overview
A lovely route awaits you, ideal for families and those looking for a peaceful ride through the countryside, pine forest, and sea.
This route offers you breathtaking scenery, such as the Arno's Mouth (Bocca d'Arno), which is known for the presence of scales and Retoni (large fishing nets placed on wooden constructions similar to stilts) and the typical tourist harbor.
There are many restaurants along the coast where you can taste good fried seafood and eat delicious ice cream.
Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, once at the seaside, you'll be able to enjoy a well-deserved swim in to the sea and a delicious ice cream on the seafront.
This is a tour where you, the sun, and the sea are the real stars!

The brandnew Trammino bike path follows the historical pisan tramway track, runs across the countryside for about 13 km to get to the seaside town Marina di Pisa.

San Piero a Grado, a clear Pisan Romanesque style structure, was founded in the place where Saint Peter is said to have landed during his journey to Rome.

This seaside town is located about 13 km away from Pisa next to the mouth of the Arno river. Here you can find the pretty tourist harbour, the traditional fishing nets called "retoni", beautiful Art Nouveau villas and a nice pebble beach where you can take a dip and eat a tasty ice cream.

Tuttomondo (1989) is one of the last public murals executed by Keith Haring before his death and one of the few outdoor public works created by the artist for permanent display.

Pur non essendo praticissimi con le bici con un gruppo di amici siamo andati a Pisa e provato questo tour. Devo dire che è stata un’esperienza fantastica, biciclette/bike elettriche erano confortevoli e davvero molto maneggevoli. Una volta prese le bike, abbiamo istallato un’applicazione molto intuitiva che ci indicava il miglior percorso per recarci verso il mare e più precisamente ci fece prendere la ciclopista del Trammino. The owners were so welcoming! They explained everything with a smile and had every piece of equipment ready for us from wifi to download the app to straps to tie our bag on the back of the bike. We were able to experience Pisa differently! Not just looking at a tower and some normal shops, but seeing the sea and the nice beach and beachfront they have. The app tells you exactly where to go and it attaches right to your handbar. The ride is almost all on a cycling path. Even though the shop is downtown, within a few minutes you will be alone cycling towards the beach on a bike path with no cars around. By far, the best part of our trip to Italy yet!Had a fabulous afternoon on the bikes to the Pisa Marina along the old tram route weather was perfect the whole experience was great everything was explained to us and off we went I would recommend Smile and Ride 100%
