What to expect
Sightings of Giraffe, Wildebeest, Impala, Warthog, Hippo, Rhino, Zebra, Blesbok and many species of birds is common. The cycke trails are one of the most popular in the Magaliesberg area and is really beautiful with small hills and a big dam. IT is safe and your guide has cycled the area many times before. After our cycle we can have something small to eat at the restaurant overlooking the dam.We cycle a route either on tar, off road or both. The route is planned to suit your experience and fitness level. We accommodate solo or pair riders to keep it fun. The routes we follow Game tracks and Historical sights. So you will see wild animals including hopefully our Giraffe friends. We also have a number of stop off point of interest where you can have coffee or a meal. The cycle tour is between 1and 3 hours in duration depending on your requirements. We might be stopping to take photos of animals and nature. The distance is between 10 and 30 kilometers. Everything is supplied. This is a fun event but if you are experienced we can go a little quicker for training. We also can do the cycle in The Pretoria Area

Today I did the cradle cycle tour with Shane. It was a nice mountainbike tour in a private nature reserve. Shane picked collected me at my hotel, provided the bikes and water and dropped me at my hotel afterwards again. The tour itself is very variable. Depending on your own fitness Shane will choose a path that suits you. We also have come across some wild animals and had te opportunity to take some real cool and close photos. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something a bit different to do and enjoys being on bike. Shane was a great guide and a good laugh. Communication was also great as soon as be booked. I booked for myself and my sister and we had a really fun afternoon. Bikes were good quality and in great condition, he was incredibly patient with us, my sister hadn’t been on a bike in years but he was able to make her feel confident on the bike and was brilliant at picking appropriate route based on experience and confidence on the bikes. Riding past wildlife in the reserve was fantastic and we would definitely book again. Even for experience gravel/mountain bikers - it was really good fun.
