Stop At: Jardim Botanico de Curitiba, Rua Engenheiro Ostoja Roguski Botanical Garden, Curitiba, State of Parana 80210-390 Brazil
Opened in 1991, Curitiba's trademark botanical garden was created in the style of French gardens. It houses part of the campus of the Federal University of Paraná. The park occupies 240.000 m² in area. The principal greenhouse, in an art nouveau style with a modern metallic structure, resembles the mid-19th century Crystal Palace in London.

Rua XV de Novembro is one of the major streets in downtown Curitiba. Also known as Flower Street, it is one of the first major pedestrian streets in Brazil. It was inaugurated in 1972, with well-tended pots of flowers and tourist restaurants installed in hundred-year-old buildings.

Situated in the middle of an urban green park, Parque das Pedreiras, the Wire Opera House theatre is built out of steel tubes. It is built on the site of a former rock quarry close to "Pedreira de Paulo Leminski." The structure is found in the middle of an artificial lake and accessed by a walkway.

Estive em Curitiba após 6 anos e a cidade continua linda. Há problemas urbanos como em todos os lugares, mas anda comparável ao caótico nível de agitação da cidade de São Paulo. Desta vez alugamos um carro e fizemos nosso roteiro por nós mesmos... Muito melhor do que os trajetos feitos pela agênc...

O jardim botânico é lindo, muito bem cuidado, limpo, organizado, a estufa é um lugar refrescante, tem uma cachoeira linda e uma vista maravilhosa.

Vale pelas flores e para conhecer o cartão postal da cidade, mas há locais mais interessantes em Curitiba. Estão construindo uma estrutura na parte de trás .... Talvez uma outra estufa.
