Guided tours often lack fun and adventure as well as knowledge and support of the guide. But not this one! Kari made me (and I think I can speak for the rest of the group) feel safe the whole time, while being a fun guy with interesting facts who enjoys giving people a good time. Definitely 5/5 for the tour itself as well as for our guide. The rest of the stuff was super helpful, too, and gave me and a couple fellow attendants tips to see the northern lights that night. Perfect tour for beginners that have never worn crampons before. In case you do and are looking for the perfect thrill, I’m convinced the company offers those as well :-)My family of four loved this tour! My family of four loved this tour! Our kids are teenagers and the hiking was challenging but very manageable for them. The pace was good and the small group size was ideal. Our guide Kari was extremely knowledgeable about the geology of the glaciers and surrounding areas, and he was very kind and helpful. Wear warm gear and you'll be fine! (We were well prepared and no one was cold, especially when hiking.) The tour provides ice gear and helmets. I highly recommend seeing the glaciers like this before they're gone!Definitely a must do when in Iceland. The tour was amazing. Breathtaking views and overal a really cool hike.
