We had an absolutely amazing trip, custom built for us by our phenomenal guide, Diego! Picked us up right on time at our hotel and developed an itinerary for us on the spot based on our interests. He was an expert on the island and shared so many interesting facts, insights, and recommendations along the way. In just over four hours we met with local craftsmen and artisans making black coral jewelry, chocolate, tequila, local food and more. We had a fantastic meal by the sea and left with a much fuller appreciation on the island. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Should also mention we did this with our six month old son. Diego was very flexible and even helped us pick up some more baby formula! In the age of Covid we opted to take a private tour and boy are we glad that we did. We were in good hands with our driver Jesus who navigated through the traffic carefully dodging Mopeds and getting us to all of our destinations in one piece. Ricky, the tour guide was knowledgeable of everything Cozumel. We learned so much from him regarding the Mayan people and the Ruins. We also visited Sabores where we enjoyed a refreshing Paloma cocktail and learned about how real chocolate, Mexican candy and Tequila are made and tasted Tequila, Chocolate snd so much more.We ended our tour at the beach where we enjoyed an authentic Mexican Platter and afterwards was taken Downtown where we did some shopping. What a fulfilling day. I fully recommend this tour to all visiting Cozumel. It is individualized for what you want to see.
