JC and our driver was excellent. We had a great time and being a private tour we could make small changes to itinerary. We learned a lot and it really helped that we did Chichen Itza last week. There was a lot of joking and laughter on this tour. Highly recommended!

Birgit was so easy to deal with and communicated regularly providing details for our tour. Gerson was a fantastic tour guide! The BEST! He was very knowledgeable about the San Gervasio Ruins and Mayan Culture. When we were hungry for lunch, he suggested a wonderful beachside restaurant in San Miguel that served us the best ceviche, guacamole, chips and sizzling fajitas. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and will highly recommend him! Muchas gracias Gerson y Birgit!

My boyfriend and I visited Cozumel during our cruise. My boyfriend and I visited Cozumel during our cruise. I came across the Viator app on a FB travel board and am so thankful we decided to give it a shot. We got a personalized tour of the island, in an air conditioned car, from Santiago. He was the BEST tour guide. Before we even started he showed us a map of the island and explained our route and made sure that he knew when to have us back to get on the ship. That was all very comforting because I had read horror stories about missing the boat and being stranded. Santiago made sure that didn't happen. He told us all about the island (and answered our endless questions) and drove us to all of our stops. He even brought a cooler with water and beer for us! At the Mayan Ruins he handed us off to Ebon, a specialist for the Mayan tour. He was a wealth of information and so much fun. Our next stop was supposed to be the Tequila Tour, but we were hungry and didn't want to drink on an empty stomach so Santiago flipped our schedule and took us to lunch first. We had an amazing lunch at a quaint restaurant with tables in the sand, literally feet from the ocean, on the 'wild' side of the island where there is no electricity and everything is run by generators. We spent some time on the beach at another location and then went to the tequila tour. Again, Santiago handed us off to the tour guide there and waited for us. It was very interesting and we got to taste several different kinds of tequila. Even though neither one of us normally drink tequila we brought a bottle back home because it was so good! All of this personalized service was still less that what we would have paid through the cruise line and it actually went to the people living and working on the island, which was important to us. I cannot recommend this company or Santiago highly enough, simply a wonderful experience.
