We tried this as an alternative to a guided tour thinking that the flexibility would suit our teenage boys. Unfortunately this is a total waste of money. The location points were not accurate meaning that you could not score points even if you were at the destination (one site wanted us to stand in the middle of a busy dual carriageway). The locations lack any information within the app meaning that you don’t actually learn anything other than “seeing it”. We had planned to use this app again when we are in Wales with friends but will buy a travel guide instead, cheaper, more useful and more engaging for our children.jayney08

I'd read other reviews and was keen to try this app out. It didn't disappoint. We had a lovely day tootling around only a few km from home visiting so many interesting places. You may need to charge your phone if you use it all day. Other than that easy to follow and great fun.

I live in the Cotswolds and was looking for something a bit different (and outdoors) to do when my family visited. The Cluecation Scavenger Hunt was perfect. We all got a little competitive and ended up filling our entire week with the games and activities. Thanks, Cluecation!

We live in the Cotswolds, and thought we knew it! But traveling with this scavenger hunt was an incredible experience. It was really fun to discover so many new places and countryside walks. Being able to leave the house without planning and just let the app guide us was so convenient. And having a whole week to go on as many day trips as we wanted was brilliant. Highly recommended for families who want to explore their region. We’ll certainly be doing another geohunt on our summer holiday!Eric_A
