The cruise up the Mary River was beautiful, surrounded by water-flowers, scenery, many birds and we saw several crocodiles in their natural habitat. Amazing and wonderful! Thank you for a great tour. We didn't have a lot of time but wanted to get a small taste of the Territory beyond Darwin - and this was the perfect half-day option. We had breakfast at the Tavern then caught the shuttle, and spent a fantastic 90 minutes on the water. Allan is a friendly, laidback and knowledgeable guide, and made sure that everyone in the boat (about 15 of us) got a chance to see all the highlights. There are no gimmicks or bells and whistles on this cruise - just peaceful gliding about the billabong, seeing and learning about crocs, birds (kites, eagles, jabiru, egrets etc), various flora, etc. I just wish I had taken my telephoto lens to take advantage of the many amazing photo opportunities. Good value - highly recommended.
