What to expect
market visit topped off with a 4-course lunch.
Search for fresh ingredients at Florence’s historic central food market before traveling to our
beautiful Tuscan farmhouse in the countryside. On arrival be prepared to roll up your sleeves,
you will start creating a complete menu, from appetizer to dessert.
Master the secrets of traditional dishes that you will easily re-create at home for your friends and
family. The cooking lesson is suitable for beginners and for those who can already cook.
Then finally we will all sit together on a terrace hosting incredible views over the Tuscan hills and just like a big Italian family, we will take time to enjoy the food we have prepared together,
complemented with Chianti wine. Buon appetito!

- We regret that vegetarian or other alternative dietary requirements cannot be catered for
- On Sundays and public holidays there is no visit to the San Lorenzo Mercato Centrale (instead there will be a visit of the vegetable garden at the estate where you can pick the fresh ingredients)

- Due to uneven and steep surfaces, we are unable to accept anyone with walking difficulties or wheelchair users
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Gear/equipment sanitized between use
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Not only are the views breathtaking and the food is some of the best I have ever eaten, but the chefs, Luca and Carmela, are hilarious and had my husband and me laughing constantly. This was our second time in this tour. We were so happy that Carmela ( our cook and teacher ) and our guide, Livigna were still together. We bragged to our friends what a wonderful and fun day we had back in 2014 and not surprisingly, we had even more fun. Our group was great and after a few bottles of Chianti, we were laughing, eating and had just a wonderful time. I will definitely do this tour again on my next trip to Florence.
