We will enjoy the regular guided visit of the "Capricho de Gaudí" building. This was one of the first buildings designed by the famous Catalan architect, Antonio Gaudí.

This majestic building is the Old Major Seminar of Comillas, done by Catalan architects Lluis Domenech i Montaner and Joan Martorell, it is and one of the most important for Catalan modernist architecture buildings. You will enjoy a guided visit to the Seminary and its awesome church, which is still under renovation but a worthwhile visit.

This is the original cemetery of Comillas, it is known for being a modernist cemetery and for having being constructed over an original church.

This palace of neogothic style was constructed by Catalan architect Joan Martorell as the summer holiday Palace for the Marchese of Comillas.

This church was constructed by the citizens of Comillas in the 17th century. We will do a short stop to visit it as it is a very good representative building of the montañes gothic church style.

Lo más conocido de Comillas es el Ángel exterminador de Comillas en el cementerio, conocido como el Angel guardián. El capricho de Gaudi, El Palacio de Sobrellano y la Universidad Pontificia. Comillas llegó a ser la capital de España durante un día, el 5 de septiembre de 1881, tras la decisión del rey Alfonso XII de reunir a su consejo de ministros en la villa. Capricho De Gaudi was the highlight of my 36 day Camino hike. The house was remarkable for its stunning architecture and features...ventilation, site placement, furniture, garden. It is an unmissable treat. Organisation and staff are very professional. Highly recommended.

Llegas contento hasta la oficina de turismo, recoges el mapa de cosas para visitar. Por fin te dispones a seguir la ruta, caminas y caminas, vas siguiendo los indicadores, no llegas a ningún sitio, los indicadores desaparecen y aparecen, los monumentos son invisibles, pero encima el pueblo huele ...
Llegas contento hasta la oficina de turismo, recoges el mapa de cosas para visitar. Por fin te dispones a seguir la ruta, caminas y caminas, vas siguiendo los indicadores, no llegas a ningún sitio, los indicadores desaparecen y aparecen, los monumentos son invisibles, pero encima el pueblo huele mal, huele a fritura. Cada vez te vas desesperando más, te desesperas tanto, que tu cara empieza a desfigurarse de la frustración. Tienes dos opciones parar, sentarte y tomar una cervecita o acabar con tu compañero de viaje como los juegos del hambre. En definitiv, no merece la pena, esperana muchisimo más.Ambassador458483

En realidad lo que más me gustó fue la parte exterior de la casa y el guía que nos hizo la visita muy amena, haciéndonos partícipes a todos los asistentes a la visita.
