Overview
Dunn's River Falls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. Globally, it is as well known as reggae and equally as stimulating. The Spaniards called the area "Las Chorreras", the waterfalls or springs and it is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island. After climbing the Dunns river waterfall we will drive through the rain forest to the breath taking blue hole. You will be able to purchase lunch at the jerk center and the tour will end with local shopping in Ocho Rios.

What a great excursion! My family of 4 would highly recommend this excursion! Mr. T and Suzanne did a wonderful job chatting, giving us island information and making sure everyone was having a good time. The guides at the blue hole were awesome! The waterfalls were beautiful and all the cliff jumps were exhilarating! Get off the boat as quickly as you can, once all parties are there the trip begins and the earlier you leave the more time you have. Walk all the way across the port shops and across the taxi road area and you will find your guide holding a sign with your name. Also, don’t forget cash. There are 2 guides at Blue Hole, 2 guides at Dunn’s, plus your guide and driver.jamesb13455

Mr Campbell was amazing. He picked us promptly as he said he would. He drove us around and was very informative. Great conversation, great customer service. He made us feel like true VIP’s. One huge “tell” that he was all about taking care of us… we ended a little early at dunns falls, putting us ahead of schedule. He took the time and showed us other things instead of dropping us off early. He wasn’t looking for the “I’m done, drop and run”. Great tour, great tour guide. Blue hole is great. High adventure. Do the jumps, do the swing… it’s a blast. Dunns falls… do your own climb… it’s more fun and it’s a ton quicker. We zipped right up in about 20 minutes.314tarig

We had an amazing day with Sean. Dunn’s Falls was really fun, but it was Crazy Busy with people. There were a lot of people and it was really slow moving. We really enjoyed Blue Hole, it wasn’t nearly as busy and definitely was more of an adventure. We jumped off the deck which was about 10 feet...
We had an amazing day with Sean. Dunn’s Falls was really fun, but it was Crazy Busy with people. There were a lot of people and it was really slow moving. We really enjoyed Blue Hole, it wasn’t nearly as busy and definitely was more of an adventure. We jumped off the deck which was about 10 feet above the falls into the fast river. We also did the rope swing. Both of these were really fun! Sean organized a Jerk Chicken meal for us that we took to go so that we would get back to our Cruise port on time. We were a private group of 8 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This tour would be way better than a large tour with the cruise.alexandre_ponomarev

The private tour operator you can absolutely trust. We had really fantastic experience with Campbel who drove us thru these 2 locations that were really amazing while still telling us about Jamaican culture and history. We hence learnt a lot of new stuff! We arrived on board of a cruise ship and I was afraid to book with an independent tour operator as I heard stories if ever you book a shore excursion with operator other than Royal Caribbean the ship could sail without you if you happen to be late. I wanted to book with the cruise ship in the first place but was late as all the excursions were already sold out. So I decided to take a chance with Marvyn and was not disappointed at all. From the very beginning of our tour the driver asked me when our ship sails so he adapts our tour schedule to be back on time. We finally had a really good time and returned back 30 min before sailing.Vacation723792

This was our 4th visit to Jamaica on a cruise ship and the 2nd time we booked Marvyn’s Paradise Tours as our personal guide. For about $12 less than the cruise line was charging for their Blue Hole/Dunn’s River combo tour, we were met at the port by Dalton and taken to our private minivan. From...
This was our 4th visit to Jamaica on a cruise ship and the 2nd time we booked Marvyn’s Paradise Tours as our personal guide. For about $12 less than the cruise line was charging for their Blue Hole/Dunn’s River combo tour, we were met at the port by Dalton and taken to our private minivan. From there, he entertained us with Bob Marley music and facts about the areas we were driving through during the hour long drive to Ocho Rios. When we arrived at Dunn’s River, we watched as other cruise passengers from our ship unloaded the excursion bus and had to scramble to find a locker, while we were able to leave our towels, bags etc with Dalton in his locked van. Both Dunn’s River and the Blue Hole were a hit with our 11 and 8 year olds and then we capped off the afternoon with lunch at Scotchies and left with bellies full of Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. I would highly recommend using Marvyn’s Paradise Tours if you are in the Falmouth or Ocho Rios area and will never understand why people are willing to pay more for a worse experience through the cruise line.
