What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Province of Guanacaste, Province of Guanacaste
Starting in the morning we will pick up you at your hotel lobby, after a 90 minutes ride, you will be arriving to the property where you will enjoy 10 different cable ziplines and a refreshing water slide. After a delicious lunch horseback ride or take a tractor tram ride to the hot springs to relax yourself in the hot pools, sauna and mud baths.
At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

My wife and I enjoyed the horseback riding because it is just a relaxing way of getting to the mud bath and hotsprings. The mud bath and hotsprings is very relaxing and give you enough time to enjoy. My wife and I were in a small group so we had plenty of time to do whatever that was scheduled to do. Our guide was very informative and professional.We were a part of a large group of 27 people with one guide for all of us. The guide Meyer was great. He was well-organized and was able to keep all of us going to the various events. 27 people with one guide is too much. I understand that these companies want to make money, but herding us like c...
We were a part of a large group of 27 people with one guide for all of us. The guide Meyer was great. He was well-organized and was able to keep all of us going to the various events. 27 people with one guide is too much. I understand that these companies want to make money, but herding us like cattle was not fun. Waiting for 20 plus people to finish the zip line, get saddled on a horse, finish their lunch made for a lot wasted time. We should have been 2-3 smaller groups with individual guides. This could have been a great tour otherwise. Lastly, for what we paid, I would expect more. This was not cheap to book. We took a private tour of the Mega Combo with Ulysses and our driver Jonathan and it was an incredible day! We started with a 2 hour drive from our hotel to Buena Vista in a nice clean roomy SUV. Both Ulysses and Jonathan were terrific making sure all our needs were met. Ulysses accompanied us on the 7 zip lines and was most helpful in making sure we were safe. The entire day was packed with fun and adventure and our teenage children had a fabulous day. Ulysses was full of great Costa Rican history and it was a pleasure speaking with him and learning all about the country and culture. He never left our side making sure we were happy with our tour and he pointed out all sorts of animals, trees and points of interest. Whoever gets Ulysses as their tour guide in so lucky and in great hands, he is terrific! Our travel agent worked with Swiss Travel for our two week visit to Costa Rica. I would not have changed a thing that they recommended. We had the trip of a life time. All of the staff that we worked with or toured with were very knowledgeable and friendly. The main tour we took directly with Swiss Travel was the Mega Combo tour. It was a great day full of interesting info on the culture on CR people, nice horse back ride, zip lining was a great with fabulous guides and the mud bath and hot springs were wonderful! The lunch that was provided was great as well!! Our tour guide Jorge and driver Omar did an outstanding job. Jorge was very informative and fun and Omar did a great job getting us where we needed to be! I would highly recommend using the organization for any of your needs in Costa Rica.This was a great first excursion. Herndon was our guide and he was informative and personable. The hot springs were beautiful and the water slide was surprisingly exciting. Great day!
