We will visit one of the most impressive Mayan Ruins in Belize, Xunantunich! Float through mysterious limestone archways beckoning you into the mouths of centuries-old caves, holding untold stories of Maya rituals. Explore the many breathtaking formations designed by only nature and learn about the ancient rituals and ceremonies that are a part of their mystique and magic.

We are a family of 4 with a 16 y o daughter and a 7 y o son (for some reason TripAdvisor does not provide an option for this - apparently a family can only have teenagers OR young kids 😂). That said, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Xunantunich, lunch in beautiful setting, and then a swim in a refreshing and clean inland Blue Hole. The 2.5 he drive there and back was indeed scenic and was much easier than I thought. The vehicle was well air conditioned and comfortable. Most importantly, our guide, Walter was super nice, very knowledgeable, accommodating, and a great driver. He gave us a fantastic intro to the culture and way of life in Belize on top of sharing interesting facts about Mayan and Aztec civilizations and local flora and fauna. Our son was scared of climbing the pyramid so Walter stayed with him in the shade near the pyramid while the rest of us climbed up and took gorgeous pictures. In the meantime, Walter, who has a son and a daughter of his own, made our kid who can be on the shy side very comfortable, answering his questions and having a fun conversation. The lunch was delicious and not rushed (we had a choice of what we could pre-order). The swim in the Blue Hole was a perfect way to cool down and rest at the end of the tour before driving back. All four of us had a fantastic day thanks to Walter and Thai small, but high quality tour company. Thank you!Our family of five just finished a full day trip guided by Israel. We would highly recommend any tour with Israel!We had such a great day with Israel. He was very accommodating and professional.
