I'm so pleased I chose Peru Breathtaking Trips as we traveled places in the 4x4 that the big tour buses never go. The family stay in Sibayo was delightful, with gracious hosts and great meals, we learned a lot about the local culture as well as the Inca culture.we booked the private tour, with the Peru Breathtaking, a 3 days 2 nights trip from Arequipa to the Colca Canyon region :-) before the trip my wife looked up the info via Trip Advisor, ran info this Tour Agent, I was a bit doubtful if it's reliable to find a good operator via on-line ? her decisi...
we booked the private tour, with the Peru Breathtaking, a 3 days 2 nights trip from Arequipa to the Colca Canyon region :-) before the trip my wife looked up the info via Trip Advisor, ran info this Tour Agent, I was a bit doubtful if it's reliable to find a good operator via on-line ? her decision finally !!! the trip turned out to be a very memorable one :-) Wilmar, the guide, was nice, very R eliable, knowledge ! he is a young, yet mature man who know how to take care his customer ^_^ one thing we appreciate is that he won't "overdone" when he was trying to "brief" us the tourist attraction information, yet, when we found it interesting to inquire more in-depth, he was enthusiastic to tell us more, we learned a lot from him about the incan culture, the peruvian way of life ! on our way from Arequipa to Colca (1st day), the driver Huber, took a alternate road that was bumpy (roads condition), but we found it worthwhile as Wilmar took us to a mountain outlook, a easy hike, to see an ancient Incan cave, where we saw a lot of ancient walls paintings, in hindsight, we didn't believe the site, with such high value anthropologically, is so easily accessible without anyone to man it, not to mention any proper signage or entrance -.- Wilmar told us that he didn't bring every visitor here , it depends on the weather, the way he budget the time, we didn't ask him the details of his itinerary logistic behind, but we feel really thankful that we were there :-) the driver Huber, can't speak English, but he is a lovely young man too !We did a 3 day tour of the Colca Canyon. The guide Wilmer has an encyclopaedic knowledge of history and flora and fauna of the area. Very easy going and a well paced tour. Time spent admiring the view and the fauna was a real treat. We found this company because of a friend who visited Peru 2 years ago. We were a party of 4 looking for a tour of sightseeing and also some hiking. Wilmar was very prompt in sending us a proposal for our 3 days in Colca. So, we started from Arequipa and drove towards Huambo and then to Cabanaconde(a bit bumpy road, not so high and less crowded) we stayed in Cabanaconde which is a little town with nice mountain views. The second day on our way to Colca Lodge we stop at famous Cruz Del Condor where we saw some of the Andean Condors. Wilmar walked with us along the upper edge of the canyon for about 1 hour(nice walk). After stopping a couple of times we arrived to Colca Lodge for lunch. That afternoon we went walking to a little pre-inca town. On our last day we left the hotel around 10am and drove back to Arequipa after the great days spent in Colca. Thanks Wilmar and staff for making our visit a great one.My boyfriend and I always wanted to visit Peru because we heard so many possitive things about the country. My boyfriend and I always wanted to visit Peru because we heard so many possitive things about the country. So, after some research we decided to take Peru Breathtaking Trips because of the great plan they offered. We spent 15 days in Peru sightseeing, biking and trekking the most beautiful places, Started by touring Arequipa and trekking for 3 days the Colca Canyon. Then off to Lake Titicaca for a 1 day tour, what an awesome view. Once in Cusco we visited Sacred Valley and did a biking tour in the area. We finished our tour by seeing the breathtaking Machu Picchu. During our stay, our host Wilmar showed us all these places and shared his knowledge. He was the best tour guide we had. Top Notch services from transportation to hotels and trains. We will highly recommend this company to all our friends visiting Peru.
