Everything was perfectly arranged, from the pick-up to the delicious homemade snacks, the truly local lunch, the monkeys in the jungle and the amazing Cenote we visited (all private to ourselves, no tourists). Prior booking the excursion I’ve spent some time researching tour operators in tulum and found Mexican Kan tours reliable company with many good reviews and felt confident in booking a tour with them. I went to their office where i was greeted by a lovely receptionist Daniela who helped me pick my excursion, the Mayan inland expedition. The excursion exceeded all my expectations. We were a small group and our tour guide Niko was superb. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we were safe and comfortable troughught the whole day. I loved all activities and our last stop was a visit to a Mayan family where we ate lovely homemade meal. My only regret was that I haven’t booked more excursions with them. Will definitely do more on my next visit to tulum. This was an absolutely amazing experience. Our tour guide Marco clearly loved history, culture, and was so knowledgeable. This was an absolutely amazing experience. Our tour guide Marco clearly loved history, culture, and was so knowledgeable. The small tour group made it so much nicer than the other large tours you get in Tulum. I didn't know you could pack so many fun adventures into a single day. And having the eco tour aspect, getting to tour a nature reserve, and learn about animal conservation and rehabilitation from a local family was one of the best aspects. Of course seeing a group of wild monkeys, biking through the Coba ruins, and swimming in a private cenote was pretty darn amazing too. I highly recommend this tour!My friend and I went on this tour after being recommended this company by a friend. My friend and I went on this tour after being recommended this company by a friend. The tour from beginning to end exceeded our expectations, Tzamn was our tour guide and he was genuine, friendly, fun and had so much knowledge about the ruins, areas and Mexico in general, it was great to learn from him and excellent company. It was just three of us on the tour, which made it a nice, chilled environment to enjoy the tour at our own pace and meet another lovely person on the tour. Tzamn really cares about the Mayan community and the environment which is evident in his kind manner. The tour was so much fun, zip lining, cenote swimming (one of our highlights as we had the cenote to ourselves!) eating at a Mayan families home and having a tour of their eco farm (wonderful humans!) and so much more. If we were in Mexico for longer we would have chosen more of the tours to explore other sites in Mexico. Don’t hesitate to book with this company and Tzamn as well. Thank you!The operator changed the tour time departure by 90 minutes the day before the trip. I did not get the message, and when they called the hotel finally it was to inform they were leaving without me, and there would be no refund. Worst travel experience in 50 years of world travel.

I'm leaving Tulum with fantastic memories thanks to the team at Mexico Kan Tours! I originally booked one tour with them based on their TripAdvisor rating. I decided to book 3 more based on their customer service. I had questions and every single person I spoke to was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt in their reply. I figured that was a good sign and I wasn't disappointed. I did a Tulum ruins bike tour with Carlos, a Chichen Itza tour with Mo, a Coba tour with Lily and Hector, and a Cenote tour with Niko. I thought each of their tours was the perfect blend of history, culture and fun. The Cenote stop at the end of each tour was perfect. I honestly cannot think of how they could make their tours better. A special shoutout to all the guides. Each and everyone of them was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. You can tell how passionate they are about sharing the history and culture. They made the tours truly exceptional! Thank you so very much Carlos, Mo, Lily and Niko. I would come back to Tulum just to do more tours with these guys and recommend them wholeheartedly!
