Overview

This walking tour will focus on the interiors of some of Cleveland's greatest buildings downtown! We will take a look inside the Federal Reserve of Cleveland, the bank lobby of the Society for Savings Building, the Old Stone Church, the Renaissance Hotel lobby, the Cleveland Public Library, the Arcade and the Cleveland Trust Company Building. Buildings are subject to change.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland: Money Museum, 1455 E 6th St, Cleveland, OH 44114-2517

We will go inside the beautiful lobby of the Federal Reserve of Cleveland. We will not tour the Money Museum but instead tour the lobby. This stop requires guests to show a government issued ID and pass through a metal detector to gain entrance.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Society for Savings Building, 127 Public Square, Cleveland, OH 44114-1217

We will step back in time to 1890 as we visit the bank lobby of the old Society for Savings Bank (today a Key Bank). We will see a collection of old coin banks and four incredible murals.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Old Stone Church, 91 Public Sq, Cleveland, OH 44113-2002

The church is the oldest building on Public Square, 1855. We will visit the inside of the sanctuary. There are ten amazing stained glass windows, four of which are done by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Stop At: Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, 3 Public Sq, Cleveland, OH 44114-2221

We will explore this Civil War monument honoring those 9, 000 Cuyahoga County residents that fought in the Civil War, looking at the incredible artwork both inside and outside the monument.

Stop At: The Arcade, 401 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115, USA

Built in 1890, the magnificent building is like no other. We will explore the building from the inside and learn about its construction and history.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Cleveland Trust Company Building, 900 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44115, USA

Today a grocery store but for around 90 years it was the Cleveland Trust Company Bank. We will look at the incredible stained glass dome and the series of 13 murals done by Francis Millet.

Stop At: Cleveland Public Library, 325 Superior Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44114-1271

We visit the third floor Special Collections department, see some of the great chess sets on display and the world's smallest book. As we make our way back down we will see some amazing art work through out the building including the giant statue of Superman.

I had never been in the old stone church. If you haven’t take this tour. The arcade is as stunning as ever, and each of the buildings has a unique story. Scott, the guide, is first class.

We had four days in Cleveland for a graduation....never been there before. We did lots of things thar were great (art museum, botanical, Funny Bus, etc) but Scott and this walking tour was the best.
