What to expect
We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled trip time to give time for check-in. After this, guests will meet their guides, receive the necessary equipment for their journey, and the basics of rafting and river safety. Next, they will board our shuttle vehicle, which will take them on a short drive to the creek-side launch point.
After their rafting adventure, guests will be transported back to our outpost. There, they will have the opportunity to purchase a keepsake from our gift shop and/or receive recommendations from their guide about other area attractions and eateries.

What an incredible afternoon, it was SO MUCH FUN! Kurt was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable, safety-conscious and entertaining. We were in the lead boat, so while we were waiting for others to get through some tricky rapids, there were some fun little extra things we got to do. Our whole family loved it (boys are 21, 19 & 17), it's been one of our favorite rafting trips. Small world, Kurt was friends with some guides we rafted with in Costa Rica. We did a lot of research before booking with Downstream, and SO glad we chose them. Our only wish is that it could've been much longer! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our rafting experience in Clear Creek! Chaz was knowledgeable, down to earth and super friendly. His safety talk was easy to follow, and he double-checked our PFD's and helmets before we set out on the river. We did the intermediate run (having only done tamer rafting in TN), and Chaz made sure all 3 of our boys (22,17,15) had the exciting adventure they wanted (as did their dad) while I had a great time yet somehow stayed relatively dry in the boat while they got soaked! On one of our breaks from paddling we pulled over, and he even took them up a ways to jump in and float back down to the raft. The staff inside was quick to help and answered any questions we had. I recommend purchasing the pictures online beforehand to save a little money, delivery was instantaneous as soon we got back from our trip (simply provide email), and the pictures are clear and great quality. The smiles in the pics are a reminder of how much fun we all had together! There's a great little gift shop inside as well as places to change after your trip. We highly recommend this company if you're rafting in Colorado, we had a GREAT experience with them!We had the absolute best time! Had amazing guides at Downstream Adventures! We will definitely be back! We all agree our favorite part was the 50/50!
