Stop At: Shoshone Lake, Yellowstone National Park, WY

This beautiful hike has the classic mix of giant open meadows and forest of Yellowstone on the way to the shores of Lake Shoshone. Lake Shoshone is the largest backcountry lake in the lower 48 states only accessible by foot or kayak. Beautiful hike to the lake. We were grateful to have a fantastic guide, Joe, who was great company and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the Park. We went back to do another hike with Joe later in the trip to Ribbon Lake, an unforgettable view at the end. Would highly recommend
