What to expect
The most popular raft trip near Phoenix! An unforgettable day in the majestic 2000′ deep Salt River Canyon begins with the pride of our company: the guides! Passionate, knowledgeable and fun, these professionals will take you through rapids such as Maytag and Overboard as well as the serenity of the Narrows and their beautiful volcanic cliffs. Half way through we stop at our river side base camp for a delicious hot lunch! Afterwards we tackle the longest and hardest rapids such as Exhibition (watch the show or be the show) and Mescal Falls. Enjoy the view of the river on the ride back to your vehicle on Apache Highway 1 which could be sold as an exciting trip in and of itself. This is an excellent trip for first-timers as well as seasoned rafters and is an easy day trip from Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff or Sedona. The fun, excitement and beauty of the Salt River Canyon has never failed to impress!

I didn't think white water rafting could get any better until my family got Bama as our raft guide. If I were to go back, I would request him 100x over! Such a friendly, relaxed, funny guy that made the trip one to remember.

All the guides and support crew are hard workers ,safety conscious, professional and a lot of fun. The Canyon is just so beautiful. We actually saw a bald eagle on the beach. Highly recommend!This was an amazing river trip. The guide, Marcus, was outstanding. He maneuvered the raft expertly even with 2 small children up front. He gave us lots of details on the sights, wildlife, and habitat. No fear just a ton of fun!! Lunch was delicious. With the wetsuits, you don't feel the cold.

Guides were great! Pointed out points of interest and did their best to keep everyone safe. Equipment in good shape. Scenery was perfect that time of year. Lunch was an unexpected yummy experience! I was anticipating boring sandwiches. lol Only down point was delay getting started/getting everyone geared up/in the water. It could have gone faster. But there were 2 BIG groups going about same time. So likely the problem. My rec: don't keep on all of the gear until you get down by the river, was too hot. Try it on to make sure it fits, but carry down. Try to car pool, as parking is limited and you should anyways. :-)Flynn was our guide and we had the best time ever. All of the crew was incredible knowledgeable. Marcus, Ellis and James were all very much a team. We learned so much and were excited for them as they anticipated a significant rainfall in the coming days which would change their whole outlook....
