Classic Car Half Day Driving Tour on the Costa Blanca
Overview
Located 1 hour from Alicante and 75 minutes from Valencia, this classic car driving experience is unique on the Costa Blanca, a chance to relive a nostalgic memory, to provide a wonderful gift to a loved one or couple that would appreciate something truly special, or to simply treat yourself to a fabulous experience in the mountains or along the coast in a car that is guaranteed to make you, as well as many admirers smile. Or if you want to be chauffeured and enjoy the surroundings even more, one of our experienced drivers will happily take you on a tour of your choice.

This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Benissa, Benissa, Costa Blanca, Province of Alicante, Valencian Community
From Club 55, we drive into Moraira and follow the winding coast road with fabulous sea views to Benissa Costa, where we take the road up into the hills with stunning sea views alongside and on into Benissa.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Jalon Valley, Spain
We drive through the beautiful Jalon valley, famous for different colours throughout the year, whether for the cherry or almond blossoms or bright citrus fruits, or the plentiful vibrant vineyards. The winding roads take us to the foot of the mountains beyond, where we start our ascent!
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Carrer Coll de Rates, 03724, Alicante, Spain
On this half day tour, we ascend the stunning Col de Rates, famous mountain climb where all the top cycling teams practise each year. With fabulous views of the Costa Blanca and even across the Mediterranean Sea to Ibiza. We stop at the peak where we enjoy a drink and take in the panoramic views.

Pass By: Castell de Castells, Castell de Castells, Province of Alicante, Valencian Community
Once we have reached the peak, we start our slow descent through Tarbena and then a stunning road through the mountains, which includes two great driving features, the 'big dipper' and the 'helter skelter'. Then we reach the village of Castell de Castells and start our descent back down to the coast.
Stop At: Parque Natural del Montgo, 03730, Denia Spain
After descending back to sea level we pass through Pedreguer, Xara and then drive alongside the imposing and majestic Montgo Mountain always impressive and changing colours through the day and ending with the beautiful sunset reds and oranges.

Stop At: Carretera del Cap de Sant Antoni, Ctra. del Cap de Sant Antoni, 03730 Xàbia, Alicante, Spain
Before entering Javea, we head along another winding coastal road along side of the Montgo mountain and then toward the Cap de San Antonio, where we drive along the peninsular (the Costa Blanca equivalent of Florida keys) to the lighthouse and a point where we are surrounded on 270 degrees bey water. Another nice photo opportunity. Great views back down to Javea, where we will shortly descend.

We continue into Javea to the Port and then drive alongside the coastal road and into the Arenal beach area. From here we continue back toward Benitatxell.

Stop At: Cumbre del Sol, Cumbre del Sol, Province of Alicante, Valencian Community
Finally in Benitatxell, we turn off toward Cumbre del Sol and head to the the top of the mountain and the amazing panoramic views over 100kms of coastline and out to the Balearic Islands. A perfect last photo opportunity on this great half day tour!

A fabulous experience, which will live long in the memory. Spent a glorious few hours driving a classic 1960's MGA around the beautiful mountains, villages and coastline of the Costa Blanca. David was our excellent host and guide, leading us to the beautiful mountains around Benitachel and Cap de San Antoni. For the petrol-heads among you, the MGA had been slightly modified to make for a safer and smoother drive, with addition of disc brakes, power steering and a 5 speed box and was a wonderful drive. Club 55 offer a number of classic vehicles for this experience and we could have chosen from a Porsche 550, Mustang convertible, Beetle convertible and (although not available on the day) a TR3, amongst others. With the sun shining and a couple of stops throughout the afternoon, to stretch our legs, take in the scenery and have a 'cafe con leche', it really was a special few hours.mariokI1254GV

Mein Mann hat mir den Ausflug als Überraschung geschenkt Und selten zuvor hat er mir so meinen Geschmack getroffen. Es war sooooooooo schön! Die nette Begrüßung von David war der Anfang eines unvergesslichen Nachmittages. Mein Mann hatte den MG gemietet und es ging auch direkt nach den Formalität...

Die nette Begrüßung von David war der Anfang eines unvergesslichen Nachmittages. Mein Mann hatte den MG gemietet und es ging auch direkt nach den Formalitäten los. Davis fuhr voraus und wir hinten nach. Wir waren immer in Funkkontakt. Wir machten an den schönsten Stellen einen Halt und hatten einmalige Blicke aufs Meer. Super Organisation, die durch die persönliche Art von David unterstrichen wird. Wir werden so einen Ausflug wieder machen, wenn wir zurück kommen!vonnev958

Weer een jaartje ouder, maar wat een mooi begin van m'n nieuwe jaar! Rijden in een "Beautiful Old Lady", een topervaring! We hebben een namiddag/avondtour gemaakt en het was fantastisch. Genietend van het uiterlijk, 't gevoel en 't geluid van een 'echte auto', heb ik zelfs m'n hoogtevrees verban...
