Joseph was very lovely and accomodating for our needs. We included a pick up from port after the cruise and drop at the airport, with plenty of time to see the sites of Rome. We never felt rushed and we could pace the day just how we liked. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour after finding Shore Excursions Italy on a Rick Steves Travel Forum. People said how accommodating Monica was in booking tours. She didn’t disappoint. My wife and I looked into the places we wanted to see, so our biggest need was for a driver/guide rather than a dedicated tour guide. We wanted to go to Cinque Terre while our cruise ship was in Livorno. We decided on a private tour to avoid the crowds of the cruise ship tours and we needed to get to the train station for a 5pm train. We were skipping the last leg of our cruise to Rome to visit the Amalfi Coast (having already been to Rome and it was only the last night we’d miss). So we needed to take our luggage with us on the tour. The tour took us to the first village, where the driver told us where to catch the ferry, so we got to see a few towns from the water as well. The driver was great, he picked us up on time, told us highlights of each place we visited and where to meet him afterwards and he even gave us a restaurant recommendation and got us a great table with a view. He also stayed in the van with our luggage, which was nice. We had some extra time near the end and he took us ti Pisa to see the leaning tower. We arrived at the train on time and had a great day. I used the same tour company in Amalfi to get to Path of the Gods and also later from Rome to see the Trivoli Gardens and Civita de Bagnoregio. Both of those were private bookings and excellent. I did check a couple of other companies but found this SEI to be the most accommodating and at a great price. Monica made it so we could see what we wanted in the time we had to do it without feeling rushed. She gave me a better deal since i booked more than one tour too. That was a nice surprise. All of the vehicles were newer and clean and the drivers, very conversational, good English and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.I am a travel advisor and have used SEI many times for myself and clients and have never been disappointed. This trip was no exception. I love how they check in the night before on WhatApp to make sure everything is confirmed. A shout out to Monica in the office, who never sleeps and is the sweetest ever!! Laura and Frenchesco are my clients favorites and we are planning our next trip through Northern Italy with Richardo. I also appreciate there honesty as a clients tour did not last as long as they had planned so they refunded some of my clients money. Keep up the great work!!!!We took three day trips with the company at three different cities and had amazing experience every time. Knowledge guides, comfortable cars, timely service and overall great quality. Highly recommend.

Our trip was fabulous thanks to our guide Carlo and his son Federico. We were picked up at the train station and given an extensive tour of Rome. We were a family of 6 including two teens and two grandparents and Carlo and son took great care of all of us. At one point in the trip my dad was getting too tired to do any more walking and Carlo and son gladly stayed with him while the rest of us finished the walking part of our tour. I am very grateful for their professionalism and kindness! If I could give 10 stars I would without hesitation as they made our visit to Rome a memorable one. Thank you from all of us once again!
